  2. NICE!!! I have this sitting on the shelf in the garage, you know what's bad, I did not even realize it was a curbside kit! Can't wait to start on it now!!!!
  3. Looks good Shane!!!!
  4. That;s going to be a cool little truck right there!!!
  5. As always, very nice work sir!!! Love checking on this build!!!!
  6. X10!!!! Awseome stance, i like it the way it is, gives it that "Patina"!!!!
  7. I love checking on this build!!!! By the way Mustangmodeler, that is a friend of mines car you have in your avatar! He call's it T-Mod. I'm sure you've done some reading on it, if not i can send you a link to his build thread on our 1:1 website (in case you wanna build a model of it!)
  8. I like what I see so far, i love Chevelles and truley dis like the new Camaro, You have taken the best parts of the Camaro though and added to an already muscular car!!!! Keep it up!!!!!
  9. Your off to a good start! Lokking like a clean build to me!!!!
  10. Very nice sir! S L O W and steady! You are the MAN!
  11. I remember seeing a couple on e-Bay last year sometime, and the boxes on the listings matched the box that it was in when my father gave it to me, I believe you are correct. Those things had some hefty price tags on them! The chassis I am using is from a 1/24 kit and that would make sense as well. I had to do some modifications to get the body to sit down on there. Plus with the interior tub out of that kit, it sticks out of the bottom of the body.So it makes sense that you are correct on the scale as well sir! It all makes sense now! Thanks!!!
  12. Seems like there were a couple from kits I had in the '90's that had decent carbs on them. I think it was the "Heavy Chevy" '70 Chevelle and a Pro Stock '57 Chevy also had some decent ones on it. I like not putting the breathers on those, Or just left it unglued, I'm with ya man!
  13. Thanks for the tip sir! I got the gold/yellow micture on last night! Another bump in the road, Decals are not sticking at all! Is this because of their age or did I do something wrong possibly? They have set for a while on the car and they are just raising up in spots. Anything I can do? Start over with a new sheet?
  14. Wow, thanks guys, did not realize she had gotten this much attention since I posted it up! She's got an Explorer intake, Mass Air Conversion 65mm TB, BBK Cold Air, 2 1/2 Stainless exhaust with 40 series flow masters. Has not moved that much this year though.
  15. Very cool! Always loved the older Big Foots!
  16. My toy, owned by my wifes grandfather until he passed in 2001, then her dad got it for a while, then we took ownership in 2009. DD is an '09 Accord.
  17. Yeah, I'm not a troll or a trouble maker. Don't have to read the rules, I already know them. "Treat others withe same respect you would want". I stayed away for a while because of some things I read. Awesome job! This is a much better place! I support it 100%!!!!!!! Plan on being here a while!
  18. This what I have on the way!
  19. Slow and Steady! I'm tryin'!!! lol Thanks Bill! Alot of those sanding marks are from when I was a kid, We'll have to see what she turns out like once she's stripped down and a coat of primer on. Roger what do you have in mind for a trade?
  20. Like I really need to start ANOTHER project before finishing the others I have going! Anyway, the first one here is the '64 Thunderbolt kit. i built this when I was a sophomore in highscool. (1991?) Over time I robbed parts off of it and paint faded and chrome peeled. Seeing the "Pheonix" come back to life got me to thinking. Going to try and do a pro touring type car with this and use my Strada Sports BBS wheels on her!!!!! Just a quick mock up, I picked up another kit to replace the chrome and missing parts as well!!! The next one is going to be a challenge for me, but this is a sentimental car to me. This belonged to my Dad, he passed away in 1998. He gave me this car when I was a little kid, it wasn't finished but it was painted and needless to say I was not kind to it! Not sure of the brand of it but I know it was from the '70's and was a Boss 302 kit I believe. Anyways, this is all I have left of it now. Been letting it soak in Easy Off for a few days, it's going slowly and I have found that the Street Burner Shelby GT500 kit is pretty close so that is what I will be using for the chassis. Going to try and make this one "functional" and not just cram the wheels and tires up in there for the "curbside model" effect! If anyone has any info or parts please let me know, I will defintely need bumpers, grille and a hood. Thanks! Got the chassis kinda sorted out, going to have to narrow the rear just a tad! Also got some new wheels coming!!!! Comments and suggestions ALWAYS welcome, thanks!!!!
  21. Looks good Shane! I've got a set of those wheels and thought about painting the spokes on them, that looks really good!
  22. AWESOME!!! Something else to spend money on and add to the collection!!!! I can see 3-4 of those in future as well!!!!!
  23. Nice looking rides Shane! Don't I know you from somewhere??????
