  1. Looks cool... and you even remembered the purple horn!
  2. Looks great... but why are the door hinges pink??? (At least they look pink in the photo)...
  3. We're working on getting the magazine back on schedule. It's a long story, lots of "behind the scenes" stuff... don't really want to get into it here, but it is is a big priority. We are doing our best to get the magazine back on schedule, your patience is very much appreciated as we sort things out. The website hasn't been updated in a while... actually the October issue is out now. We are currently working on newsstand availability. Again, it's a long story, and I don't want to get into the details here. There are a lot of issues at play, but the bottom line is, we are doing our best to make things right. I know that it's frustrating for you guys, but believe me, it's even more frustrating for us! We are doing everything we can to A: Keep to a timely publication schedule, and B: Get MCM onto the newsstands. But getting onto the newsstands is easier said than done. Magazines with big-time publishers behind them have a lot more "clout" when it comes to newsstand presence. MCM doesn't have the luxury of a big-time publisher behind it... it's more or less a "labor of love" by Gregg, and that makes it that much more difficult to gain newsstand presence. We're working on it as best we can. Hopefully soon you'll see MCM available at mass merchandisers. In the meantime, there's always the option to subscribe. That way you'll get the magazine delivered to your door no matter what.
  4. I love your logic!
  5. I agree with Dave, a tripod will make your model photography a lot easier. It's much better than relying on your own "steady hands"...
  6. Oh yeah... you're liking the shirt!
  7. Repost the photos, that's fine... but leave out the BS. And the bad language. We all know how to swear, but we also all know it's inappropriate to do so here.
  8. Ok guys... I have just about had it with the juvenile BS that's been happening here lately. I just deleted two threads that were nothing but infantile ranting. I really don't have much more patience for this sort of nonsense. I don't care if you're 14 or 44... if you're going to be a jerk here, your membership will be terminated. You all know who you are. I'm not going to name names, but I will not put up with any more BS.
  9. Generally, if you shoot at your camera's highest quality setting, the image will be too big for posting here. Different cameras have different settings, but in general if you shoot at the "normal" or "standard" setting you'll be fine... no need to shoot at the "high quality" setting (or whatever that setting is called on your camera).
  10. I agree, if you're talking about a camera to simply shoot pix for posting online and general "snapshots", you don't need any sort of hi-buck "pro" camera. Just about ANY digital camera these days will do fine for you. Make sure it has a Macro function (for close-ups). As long as you get one with at least 5 megapixels or so, you'll be fine. Heck, you don't even need that much, but these days the prices have come down a lot, so might as well get one with more megapixels than less. You should be able to find literally dozens of choices for around $100, maybe less if you catch a good sale. Try a google search for "digital camera reviews" or "digital camera prices"... a few hours spent researching online will set you in the right direction. 11. BTW Bob... are you trying to give me some Photoshop competition???
  12. It's kind of hard to strike a studly pose when you're chewing on a mouthful of deep-dish pizza...
  13. Any idea how you're going to make that windshield?
  14. Well, after last week's humiliating defeat, let's see if you guys can do better this time! Real or model? The answer: REAL!
  15. Here come old flat-top, he come grooving up slowly, He got joo-joo eyeball, he one holy roller. He got hair down to his knees... Got to be a joker, he just do what he please...
  16. The photos look great!
  17. Wouldn't this be better posted in the "Tips, Tricks and Ideas" section???
  18. Or... it could be that you guys are an hour ahead of Chicago time!
  19. You don't see him because it was him that took the picture! He was sitting right behind his beer!
  20. If you subscribe, you won't ever have to try and find the magazine again... the magazine will find you!
  21. No car with open exhaust would be street legal here.
  22. There is a post in this thread from October of 2008 that states the model's been canceled. Yet this thread lives on!
  23. That looks really cool!
  24. One of those beers was Gregg's...
