  1. If I had built a Nova as nice as yours, I'd post a ton of photos too! Great job. I like all the "little things"...they add up to a very good-looking model. I especially like the polished rims/matte spokes on the wheels.
  2. From Yahoo news: "DETROIT – A person briefed on discussions about selling Chrysler LLC says the automaker could be sold in pieces to other companies. Chrysler's majority owner, Cerberus Capital Management LP, has been talking with General Motors Corp., the combined companies Nissan Motor Co.-Renault SA and other companies about selling Chrysler. The person said Tuesday night that many combinations are being discussed. The person asked not to be identified because the talks are private."
  3. And there you go! And when you click on the thumbnail the full-size photo pops up in another window..
  4. Good point, and something that should be addressed. Maybe we need a separate section right at the top, above the "General" section, called "For new Users" or "How to use the features of this forum" or something similar, which would contain instructions for uploading photos, etc. Gregg... how about it?
  5. Option 1 does work...i just tried it. But you have to be uploading the right kind of file (jpeg).
  6. No need to bother with masking tape. Doing it your way is way too much work. First you have to apply the tape, then you have to trim it, then you have to mask off the rest of the body and then you have to paint the top! And besides, the texture of masking tape doesn't even look like the texture of a vinyl top. My way is much easier: mask off the body and spray the top from a distance, so that you create "orange peel"... the texture will look like a scale vinyl top. You can spray the "vinyl" any color you like, even if all you have is gloss, because you can shoot a coat of semi-gloss clear over the top to simulate the "vinyl" sheen. If you want even more realisn you can create the "seams" with thin strips of tape or styrene first, then paint your top. You could also try "faux fabric" texturized paint.
  7. That's strange, most people on that "other site" hate the new look there and have a million complaints about how hard it is to use!
  8. Check out my answer in your "Under Glass" Charger post...
  9. Two ways to add photos to your post. 1. When you're composing your post, go to the lower right of the page and click the "browse" button. Then find the photo on your computer that you want to include, click on it, and then hit the green "upload" button. Now when you post, your photo(s) will be there. 2. Or, go to photobucket.com and follow the step-by-step to open an account and a photo album. It's easy and FREE! Once you have your photo(s) "parked" at photobucket, you can post any of them here by simply copying the image code (the third line of gibberish below the photo) and pasting that line of text here into your post.
  10. And there you have yet another great reason to stop using enamels and go with lacquers or acrylics!
  11. You're a hell of a handsome man!
  12. ok... I looked at both your Fords, and I have a comment (well, sort of a question, actually). I like the overall look, but why did you leave all the chrome trim (like around the windows) body color? I think you should have foiled the trim. It would have given both models a much more realistic look. Not a knock on your work, but I'm curious why you did things the way you did.
  13. Still experimental? Don't you remember Dolly the sheep? They cloned her several years ago... So maybe we DO have 2 identical "72satellites" on here...
  14. They're not twins, they're CLONES! Check out their profile...they both look amazingly like Billy Dee Williams!!! :D
  15. I see that "72 Satellite" is having two birthdays today!
  16. So you're saying that I'm the king of the only media that Howard Stern isn't already the king of??? I guess I'll take his leftovers...
  17. I think you forgot to vote!!!
  18. Ok... here we go again! Real or model? The answer: MODEL!
  19. Beautifully said, George. I think you speak for all of us.
  20. Same here, but depending on the town, police are either blue or blue/red.
  21. You joined us over TWO YEARS ago and you have 17 posts???!!! Where have you been???!!! Nice GTX, BTW. Now let's see some more of your work. I think that after 2 years time you probably have more to show...
  22. You're right, it says "click here" to download a sample article from the magazine, but there's nothing to click! Send Gregg a PM and let him know.
  23. Unless you had your models insured beforehand, you're out of luck.
  24. You're welcome! I'm glad you like it.
