  1. Like the fact that the wheelbase was completely different, and a Javelin was a four-seater while an AMX was a two-seater!
  2. I like to think my Impala is a bit more tasteful...
  3. No car shows. It's just my weekend toy. And mechanically it's stock. I added a modern stereo and aftermarket wheels, but as far as the engine/chassis/drivetrain, it's 100% stock... right down to the two-speed Powerglide automatic.
  4. Sure. If you drop it out of a plane!
  5. Yeah, I'm also pretty skeptical as far as that "150" goes...
  6. The model is so spectacular, I can see how you missed the words!
  7. I have a '67 Impala with a 327. Sweet engine.
  8. The driver would have been literally impaled on the steering column. No way anyone survives hitting a tree at 150 in that car.
  9. That "before" photo... what a great looking car...
  10. I find it impossible to believe that anyone can survive hitting a tree at 150. That's impossible, especially in an old car like that without "crumple zones" or any impact-absorbing technology.
  11. I think what he has there is a movie theater display piece.
  12. Sorry, I don't do contests... so a "primer table" and orange dots are news to me.
  13. HL is an arts and crafts store, like Michael's. They stock models, but models are not their main thing. Different HL locations have different models in stock, and the size of the model car area varies from one location to another.
  14. Eric Forman's Vista Cruiser... http://that70sshow.wikia.com/wiki/Eric_Forman's_Vista_Cruiser
  15. Yeah... I build for fun, too! And to me, detailing is the fun part of building!
  16. Is that a finished model? Because the front wheel is unpainted and there are no hinges holding the door in place... apparently only magic.
  17. Read post #1.
  18. Never saw this before. Man, that's cool! Nice job on a kit that I didn't even know existed.
