  1. Wouldn't it be easier to just get rid of the cat?
  2. That's what exposure on a network TV show will do for you!
  3. Wow, that car has been through some changes! I like the version they made the model of best of all.
  4. I guess the "old school" types would prefer their online forums in paper form?
  5. I don't think the body color window moldings and wipers are doing you any favors...
  6. It is a whole new driveway.
  7. Let's keep this topic at least vaguely about "what you got today" and stay away from all the commentary that has nothing to do with the topic. If you want to talk about speeding trucks, post it in the Truck Stop section.
  8. Because some companies charge less.
  9. When I was a kid, I remember that if you were a guy and you admitted you watched Dark Shadows, well... let's say that was looked upon a bit suspiciously...
  10. I was in Phoenix a couple of years ago and one night I saw a lightning and thunder storm... not a drop of rain, though. I had never seen thunder and lightning without rain before...

  12. That's very impressive. You should post more of your work!

  14. And the Honeymooners was way before my time, but I've seen every episode. Ever heard of "reruns?"

  16. Just the facts, ma'am... When the Dragnet series was revived in 1967, Jack Webb wanted Ben Alexander to rejoin him on the show as his partner, but Alexander had just signed on with another network to star in another TV series. That's what opened the door for Harry Morgan, as Alexander was very much still alive when the "new" Dragnet TV series began. Da-da-da-da. da-da-da-da-daaaaaaaaaaaaa....
  17. Where in Tennessee are you?
  18. That photo ^ could be of a real engine. Nice...
  19. Looks good to me, but the front end looks to riding high...
  20. Set your DVR, Joe. Dragnet is on METV tonight at 11:30... right after Perry Mason.
  21. Dragnet started as a radio show. Then it became a TV series in the early '50s (the B/W episode you're probably remembering), and yes, that was pre-Harry Morgan. The TV series was revived in the late '60s, this time shot in color and with Harry Morgan playing Bill Gannon. Not sure about the radio show, but all iterations of Dragnet on TV were produced by Jack Webb's Mark VII.
  22. I've never seen this kit before. You really did a great job with it.
