BTW... I also cleaned up the garage floor. Get this: I had to use an ice scraper to scrape the buildup of salt off the concrete floor... a broom alone couldn't cut it! I know you guys in Arizona have no idea what I'm talking about. Salt? Huh? Why would there be salt on the garage floor? But you guys in the midwest... you know....

I washed and waxed the Mustang. Man, that Meguiar's "Cleaner/Wax" is a great product. I even vacuumed out the interior, and washed the salt out of the floor mats. The car looks like it's brand new! I love spring!

Pinch me... I must be dreaming. As I type this, Saturday afternoon at about 10 minutes to 6, the temp is 78 degrees! And we have a chance of snow forecast for Monday!!! You people who live outside of the midwest have no idea how crazy our weather is.

I have to admit I can admire the workmanship, but the end result is a disaster. You can't just slap together parts from several different cars and expect them to work together in a unified, cohesive way. That thing is just absolutely atrociously ugly. And as if it wasn't already ugly enough, those hideous green/gold flames add even more ugly to the mix.

My wheels are starting to get corrosion around the plastic center cap. I can just pop off the caps with a flat screwdriver to expose the corrosion around the center hole. But what's the best way to remove the corrosion? Is there a magic product out there that will melt it away or do I have to use a power tool and a wire brush type thing and physically scrub it off?

Political robo-calls. We just had a primary election here to choose the candidates for the fall general election (or in Illinois-speak, to elect the next politicians that will wind up in jail!)... I was getting several calls every day from all sorts of political campaigns. I have caller ID, so if it's a number I don't recognize I never pick up anyway (I let it go to voicemail and then decide if I want to call the person back)... but the constant ringing of phone calls I have absolutely no interest in picking up got a little annoying after several weeks.
