Language is always evolving. If a mainstream dictionary says a word means what it means, that's good enough for me. BTW... I heard today about a survey regarding current words people most want to see disappear from usage. Included on the list... "selfie" and "epic fail." Care to guess what the number one word people would most like to see go away is?

From Merriam-Webster.com: flout verb \ˈflau̇t\ : to break or ignore (a law, rule, etc.) without hiding what you are doing or showing fear or shame flaunt verb \ˈflȯnt, ˈflänt\ : to show (something) in a very open way so that other people will notice : to show a lack of respect for something (such as a rule) As you can see, while "flout" may be the more precise word in that context, "flaunt" (according to the second definition) would also be correct.

Actually, in the context he used the word, either flaunt or flout would be correct. From your own posted source: Flout: to show disdain, scorn, or contempt... to flout the rules. Flaunt: to ignore or treat with disdain... to flaunt the rules. Just sayin'...

Seems to me that there should be some sort of legal cap on what you are allowed to charge as interest. How a place like Check Into Cash can charge over 700% interest legally is a mystery to me. And their typical customer is someone who is already strapped for cash in the first place! They obviously are taking advantage of the needy (and the terminally stupid, apparently).

I have to say I miss the car designs of the past. Cars from the '30s, for example... so classy. Duesenberg, Mercedes, Packard, Pierce-Arrow, etc. They sure don't make them like that anymore...

He didn't swear. I can see the "real" words that everyone types in their posts. The word he used was c-r-a-p, which for some reason the software's built-in filter doesn't allow... but it's not swearing. No harm, no foul. Edit: I see that when I quote what he wrote, the word shows. Weird. The software thinks it's swearing if you use it, but ok if you quote it?

It's like any other modeling skill. Practice. Nobody is born knowing how to use foil. It's something you learn by doing. Don't get frustrated... the more you try, the better you'll get. Yes, there is a learning curve, but it's nothing a guy with normal skills can't learn.

I didn't read through this whole thread, so maybe this was already answered... but what exactly is this thing supposed to be? I'm not trying to be a wise guy, I literally don't understand what sort of vehicle this is.
