  1. Nobody has ever said they want you to leave the forum. It sounds like you are the one that wants to leave the forum, and it also sounds like you're feeling sorry for yourself. Like i said in my previous comment, we all have limitations of one kind or another. If you want to leave the forum, of course that's your choice. But don't make it sound like people here chased you off somehow, because that is not the case.
  2. The problem is, everyone has their own set of limitations. whether it's lack of skill, lack of money, a physical limitation, etc. How are we supposed to enforce some sort of "acceptable" level of criticism that's different for everyone depending on their own personal situation? The answer, of course, is that's impossible. Like I said, if you can't handle criticism from the public, don't post your models for the public to see. I don't say that to be mean, I say it because it's just the way it is. If all we allow here is pats on the back and comments like "awesome build," then the whole point and meaning of a public forum is lost.
  3. Sounds to me like you're saying "either say nice things about the models I post or be quiet." Am I reading you correctly? If so, that's not how a forum works. You post your work for the public to see, and you will get comments from the public... some supportive, some critical. This doesn't apply only to you specifically, it applies to everyone who posts their work on a public forum: If you can't handle (or don't want) any comments criticizing your work, do not post your work.
  4. I'd go with the Moebius Elvira kit.
  5. They do it that way on purpose. If all the shows are running commercials at the same time, they figure you'll have less of a reason to skip over to another channel to check out what's on over there. It's all about keeping you tuned in.
  6. Not a good day to ask about restoring your faith in humanity.
  7. For me it's very simple. I build a model to look as much like the real thing as possible.
  8. I like it!
  9. Looks like you are scribing your panel lines deeper. Correct? It looks good.
  10. I agree with the guys... nice color choices!
  11. Remember, no hints or answers here! PM me with specific year, make and model. Hint: This might not be what you think it is! The answer: 1940 Marmon-Herrington Ford

That's a very small car in real life... in 1/32 scale that must be a tiny model! Looks nice! Of course, it's missing a few things... like a way to steer the front wheels, for one...
  13. I knew they were called Dobros, but never knew why. Now I do!
  14. Better luck tomorrow...
  15. Peter does! And God bless him for it!
  16. I love seeing this car built stock. I am so tired of the cliché '49 Merc leadsled.
  17. I'm not a musician, so pardon the dumb question, but is that like the guitar Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits uses? It's like all silver, right? Those are really cool. Like this?
  18. Looks good from the outside, those wheels are among my all-time favorite styles ever. Not too wild about that interior color scheme or the lavender chassis components...
  19. Nicely done, but I agree with you. That is one ugly Batmobile. There's no other Batmobile than the TV series car!
  20. Aha! It finally came to me where I know those hubcaps from! Cadillac! 1933ish?
  21. I think there are several members here who could get arrested if they showed you their stash...
  22. Strange. I haven't gotten anything.
  23. Your video is 95% empty neck... no hands! Better camera placement... a little further away so we can see both your hands! Sounds cool, though. I like the sound of slide guitar.
