I wonder how often things break down and need fixing? There are hundreds and hundreds of things going on... you'd think that there would be constant breakdowns and mechanical failures all over the layout. It must keep the staff pretty busy!

Yes, good tip. A big improvement, and way easier to do than the full "drill out and replace" thing. In fact, Brett's tip can still be done now, on the finished model.
Beautiful! Spectacular! Awesome! I really like the black wash detail in the front and rear grilles.
Just one suggestion (for the next time, too late for this one): If the grill has molded-in chromed headlight lenses, drill them out and replace them with chrome buckets from the parts box and clear lenses. It will make a big difference in realism.
It's in the grocery store aisle with all the other cleaners and waxes. Or a home center like Home Depot. Or Walmart. It's basically found everywhere.
If you really can't find it (hard to imagine), go to the hobby shop and get a bottle of acrylic clear. That's all that Future is... clear acrylic.
