  1. That has to be much bigger than 1/24 scale. No way anyone can get that kind of realistic facial detail in 1/24 scale.
  2. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/09/26/test-drive-2013-chevrolet-corvette-427/?intcmp=features
  3. What's the problem with buying something from Spain?
  4. Very nice looking model.
  5. Just in case anyone is wondering what the issue with the '58 Belvedere is... (I added the yellow lines):
  6. Dick Biondi! BTW... Bob Sirott does the local news here on Fox at 9 PM.
  7. Accept them for what they are. Build them, enjoy them, and realize that they are not state-of-the-art.
  8. Ditto, ditto, amen and hallelujah!
  9. I agree. Why make a big complicated issue out of something simple?
  10. Or "Super 'CFL?"
  11. Say goodbye to a good night's sleep for the next several months!
  12. You can click on the thumbnail and see the full-size image.
  13. Ok, that makes sense, thanks for the history lesson. That brings me to the obvious question: So what was the point of mounting the axle out ahead of the front crossmember in the first place?
  14. I'm not that old! Yeah, we had girlz.
  15. Stupid Question Department: Why is that type of spring perch called a "suicide" style?
  16. Nicely done! The opening doors are impressive.
  17. Not necessarily. A tankless "silent" compressor (they're not actually silent, but pretty quiet) is perfectly fine for airbrushing model car parts. You don't need a big compressor with a storage tank to airbrush model cars. Painting real cars, yes... painting little model cars, no.
  18. Real or model? The answer: REAL!
  19. Click on the photo and you'll see the full size image.
  20. That would work... a little pad mounted on the rear fender.
  21. Aha!!!! I found a flaw! You left the rear hatch/glass hinges and the little "buttons" on the lower part of the rear glass where the struts were attached unpainted (clear)! (plus the title of your post is wrong... isn't this an '82???) The only '82 vette with the opening rear hatch was the Collector's Edition, and it came only in silver. I think.
  22. If the scale of the asphalt and the plants, etc. didn't give it away, that could easily pass for the real thing. Nobody does shinier paint than you do! Very nice...
