  1. Am I seeing things or is there a big gap between the tops of the side glass and the body/doors?
  2. This isn't the Jo-Han kit, it looks like a promo.
  3. This doesn't look like the Jo-Han kit. The kit didn't have those big screws on the chassis. Is this some sort of promo?
  4. That's cool!
  5. What did you drive on it with? Did you have a monster truck?
  6. I knew that because I watch your videos...
  7. Is this the one with the metalizer dash? I like that.
  8. His daughter died.
  9. They are in G scale (hence the name Larry G Scale!)... 1/22.5 to be exact. G scale is a model railroad scale, not a model car scale. His stuff is meant for G scale model RR layouts, which are huge and often are set up outdoors (known as "garden railroads")... but the scale is close enough to 1/24-1/25 to still look "right" when they're used with model cars.
  10. None that I can see. I don't know why it was locked.
  11. Was the primer you used Valspar "All Purpose" white primer? If so, it's not meant for plastic. From the instructions: Use on ceramic, china, glass, metal, paper mache, stone, terracotta, wicker, and wood. Notice how plastic is not mentioned?
  12. It's not too late to take off the rear suspension and narrow it a bit, so the rear wheels will fit within the wheelwells without hitting the body.
  13. I like it!
  14. Actually we have quite a few members from the UK, so you're in good company!
  15. Ok, well... at least I fooled 10 of you! Final vote: 57 REAL, 10 MODEL. And it's REAL!
  16. Because they think it will raise people's bids.
  17. It's not a matter of being "good enough," if you do something that someone pays you to do, whether you're good at it or not, then you are a "pro" at whatever it is you'e being paid to do. There are "pro" athletes who aren't particularly good, there are teachers who aren't particularly good, there are lawyers that aren't particularly good, etc... but they're all "pros" at what they do. If you build models for a living, if that's your profession, then you're a pro builder. But anything other than that... having some sort of honorary title of "pro" builder... is meaningless, because there's no measure or standard to identify someone as a "pro" builder. Anybody can call themselves a "pro" builder, and that's why the title is meaningless, unless you actually build models for a living, in which case you are technically a model building professional.
  18. Beautiful! Man, I never get tired of seeing these Hudsons built up, they make a really good-looking model. Speaking of good-looking models, where did you get the babe in the back from? That dress is seriously low-cut!
  19. Bee-yoo-tiful!
  20. I don't undersand... with the twin-tube syringe types it's impossible not to get equal amounts of A and B! That's the beauty of that type of dispenser. But if you insist on the separate tube type, just about any brand of epoxy works as well as any other.
  21. And no issues with maintaining compression, lubrication, cooling, gaskets and tolerances (other than the parts have to be loose enough to move), etc. It's an impressive example of machine work, but not quite the miracle that some people may think it is. Now if that was an actual, operating 4-stroke internal-combustion engine, that would be impressive! (but probably physically impossible at that scale).
  22. Beautiful! Just gorgeous! And nice work on getting rid of those dogleg hinges and doing it the right way...
  23. Did you get my PM???
  24. Beautiful model, and a beautiful car! Man, they do not make 'em like that anymore...
