If you were on a stamp collecting forum, and they had a section for "US Stamps" and a section for "Foreign Stamps," I guess you'd post the foreign stamps in the US stamp section, because they're all stamps, right?
In your library, the fiction books and the carpentry books and the cookbooks would all be mixed up together, because hey, they're all books, right? Good luck to anyone trying to find a particular book in that library...
The whole point here is to keep things separated so that it's easier for people to find what they're looking for. Some people build mostly (or only) cars... some mostly (or only) trucks...some a little of both... but no matter which one you're more interested in, keeping them separated makes it easier for everyone to know where to find what. It's not a matter of certain models not being "allowed" in certain areas, it's about keeping things organized. I really don't get why some of you keep arguing against this. It makes no sense to me.
And for those of you who ask, "well then, why not a separate section for show rods? Why not a separate section for dirt track racers, etc.", the answer is, it's a matter of finding a balance between having enough separate categories to make it somewhat easy to find things and going overboard and having a separate category for every possible thing.
Like I said earlier... there is no way possible to arrange this place to please everyone. I thought about it logically, and this is what I came up with. Is this the absolute final? Not necessarily. I'm always open to suggestions, and things may change yet (but probably not very drastically). But let's live with this for a while and see how it goes. I really think that most members will not have a problem with the new layout.
