  1. Interesting. Can you show us how you hinged the hood/nose? Bob
  2. I got these 2 kits at Panther Hobbies last Friday... ...great place, new Mustang was $22 + tax and the '69 Shelby GT-500 was opened but $14 + tax. Both kits will be SCCeh'd, I was going to strip a built '69 Shelby but now I don't have to! Bob
  3. Very nice build of a very nice kit Bob
  4. Seems there is a 1/25th kit to work from... http://www.ebay.com/...=item19cc8708cb http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-4272.html
  5. Man, this looks like a project for me, too bad I don't have a kit to work from. Is there a 1/25th kit available? "This looks like a job for...SCCeh Man!" Bob
  6. Looking for '67 Chrysler Newport to complete my Fathers' cars.

  7. Danno, that black and white '73 you posted, it's a '72 Polara...I know Bob
  8. Keep it going. I really like this version of the TA and the hood decal does look great...but it needs a skull Bob
  9. I like the new 'Stangs, I like that colour and I really like your build! Bob

    Ice T

Older build, "fleck" or "speckle" paint...
  12. Great start on both of these builds The body mods are done well, I like the Bow Tie rear window. Bob
  13. You could make a punch out of a sharpened end of a pipe/tube. If a hole in the middle is ok you can use a hole saw. If a very small hole in the middle is ok you can use a vernier caliper . Bob
  14. I'm sure you will hear from people to keep learning, and I'll tell you something that I think is certain, the oldest builders on this forum are still learning. Bob
  15. First off I have to say thanks to myself, I felt good enough this week to go out twice! I went to my closest hobby shop, an aircraft place, and got some glues and paint, second time in the last 10 years. Friday I went to Panther Hobbies in the west end of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) for the first time in the last 10 years, check it out, GREAT place. I also got some trades in the mail and will post in the "great traders" area when the other ends of my trades get the stuff I shipped. I got 4 IMSA-type kits, one that mysteriously turned into a Funny Car and another that was a RainX-in-a-bag with no decals that the sender added some great decals to, also a Caddie promo. I am a very happy camper Bob
  16. I've done a forum search but found no definitive answer so far... On bare plastic needing bondo work, should I primer before or after bondo-ing? Bob
  17. Those pics don't look anything like a flooded basement Good job so far. Bob
  18. This might turn into a totally different topic Bob
  19. My Dad would have loved the trucks with the flowers growing in them. This is what he did when I left my Camaro SS RS for too long in his driveway... Bob
  20. Very nicely done, look at all the curves on that body, the wing goes great with it. Bob
  21. I plan on building this kit and will be referencing my build with yours, maybe I can come close to your quality. Bob
