  8. Why would you want to mess-up a nice hot rod with paint?
  9. Looking good but what is with the camber? That truck creates its own camber as it returns back to earth after those hard launches
  10. Really? There are other forums if you are annoyed and bored.
  11. Thanks for the info. Why haven't you and I heard of this before? Oh yea, we're slow, I forgot. Looks like another place to spend way too much time. Thanks again
  12. Not enough dry/cure time. Must pass sniff test + one day. Just a guess. Good luck
  13. Welcome to MCM. Enjoy
  14. Nice details on this. That first picture make it look poisonous. P.S....Your parents must not have let you play with BB guns or firecrackers when you were a kid from the number of older builds you have been posting lately
  15. #3 tip with #3 needle and so on. Only.
  16. That is some fun stuff! Thanks
  17. Styrene/resin tires are easier to detail. Does a plastic model car really have a need for rubber tires? Bring on a 1:25 scale manure spreader 1950's or earlier era
  18. Hey Daniel, This hobby does put us in an isolation to a certain degree. Spending many hours at a time bellied up to a bench, chin deep in small tools and parts under a flood of bright lights with obnoxious headgear providing visual assistance is kinda like being in a bubble. We must like some part of the isolation or we would be involved in more social settings like billiards, darts, bridge, poker, church, bingo, etc... I joined a model club a while back and realized that it was not really my bag. It did introduce me to some great people with some over-the-top building skills. MCM Forums keep me in contact with others who have the same vice. (from a distance ) The isolation just seems to go along with the hobby. PS...There are far worse things to do with our spare time Peace out, JunkPile
  19. Welcome to MCM. Enjoy your stay
