  1. I can almost hear that bad boy a rumblin'. Looks real good!
  2. Hey Ron, I saw one of those Things the other day too. What a name for any car
  3. Cato, this is just what I need, another craft (hobby) to begin. Another workspace w/bench, another variety of tools, more sharp edges, a, new long list of materials, and the time to master this new adventure into glass cutting and polishing not to mention the picture framing techniques and on and on and on......Thanks Pal
  4. I'm with you Mike on the marvel thing. But I seem to the the only one!
  5. Most 20 something year old GM pick-ups are beginning to show signs of rust. I detect none on yours. Nice :)
  6. Shelves above bench are where my finished builds are displayed. Individual acrylic cases are a must.(no chance of model getting dusty even after years of being on a shelf) Sometimes they get moved to other areas of the house but seem to always end up back in hobby room. Most glass display cabinets are not dust proof and still require individual acrylic cases to keep builds clean inside which look a bit bulky and distracting to me. Built models are the only thing not dusty at my house. But the case is.
  7. Sorry about not getting you a reply last night. I was trying to post a picture for you as requested. This would have been the first for me. No luck. Maybe better chance next time
  8. Just a bit of info...this kit takes alot of time and work to make cool. The box stock type build just didn't look right
  9. Great lookin' stocker. Were thase all hatchbacks?
  10. Real nice site Charlie. Thanks. May have to spend some more time looking around there
  11. There's a post somewhere around here detailing how to keep track of those super small parts, and how to find them in the carpet if they do fly away. If I remember right it involved panty hose and an apron. Oh My!
  12. Jack Russell Terrorist
  13. It is just so much easier to buy them than to build them is my formula for aquiring a stash
  14. Two seems to be the magic number for me. It keeps the chance of completing one more realistic. 200 or more parts in clips, parts in clamps, parts taped to sticks, parts stuck in foam blocks, parts piled in little containers, parts hanging from wire, parts covering bench and surrounding tables.... this many parts everywhere is enough for me
  15. Something different will always grasp my attention. That's nice
  16. The basics + a few extras = mighty fine model cars. Nice builds with both Montes
  17. Thanks for backing me up Ace. I appreciate it. That nose is a nice twist for a street machine. Chuck
  18. Well then you will have to explore your creative side until you figure out how to use an airbrush, related materials and techniques required. Or you could just quit.
