Built many of these old Pyro and Lindberg 1/32 scales as a kid. They were cheap and quick. This one has to be the best I've ever seen one built. Looks good. Nice color too.
Lots of nice points about this build. Looks nice in red/black. I've noticed mistakes in my own foil, once I look at my own pictures. They seem to be invisible to the naked eye, but the camera will find them.
Another beauty! If I tried to apply my foil over paint that was only a few hours old, the entire car would be one big fingerprint! I don't know how you do it.
Very nice Imp. I've got a project planned for one of these. 4 door conversion. Wheelbase and roof are the same, so it should be fairly easy. (If I don't slip too much doing the panel lines!)
I like it. I like that particular color too, wish it was still available. I liked the Boyd series of paint. Seldom see one of these booths built unchopped. Cool.
They are very nice. With a little blackwash, they look just like the 1:1 covers. Here's a set on my '75 Dart Sport. (Sorry for the lousy picture, I should re-take this model)
Beautiful job on the top. I'll have to try the Frog tape method. I've got to build one of these for a friend that had a 1:1, and it has a vinyl top. Hope I can get mine half as good as yours!
