This is a pre-finished Polar Lights kit that I got for five bucks, so I figured I'd pop it together. I did strip the chrome from the valve covers and air cleaner, and painted the engine correctly to resemble a 383. The body color is right on for '65 Dodge Dark Turquoise Metallic, but the interior was wrong, so I shot the seats white, and dash medium turquoise, with black floor. The body is right out of the kit, just polished up a bit. I didn't bother with foil or engine wiring on this one, just a fun quick build. I think it still looks ok with my other kits and promos. White walls from Vinyl Nation are on the kit supplied tires. I did lower the suspension in the back, as these things have a tendancy to sit too high in the rear. I also used parts box Mopar exhaust manifolds.
