  1. Nice! I like the black and pink rod.
  2. I built the Revell '50 Olds with one of Dave's resin sedan bodies. Had no problems with it, nice casting.
  3. Check out my green one in the Under Glass section, may have to go back a few pages. It's posted under the Berry Mini T dune buggy, as essentially, that's what this is a kit of. Like mentioned above, almost impossible to build the engine, but I made it work. Lot's of rigging involved because everything sits crooked. Other than that, it's the only way you'll get this body.
  4. This hood was sanded and filled, before the resin one became available.
  5. I like weird! Lol.
  6. I've had this kit for years, and just finished restoring it. It's done out of the original MPC Road Runner annual, correct Sebring vinyl top and trim, and flat hood. Color is rare one year only Mist Green with black interior and top. The wheel covers are actually correct, the premium Satellite wheel covers, commonly called turbine wheel covers. Only piece I am missing is the rear valance panel, which can be added as soon as I find one. Oh, and for Harry, a set of mirrors!
  7. Wow, that's awesome! Very clean build! These castings come pretty rough from Flintstone.
  8. The members of Florida Auto and Scale Trucks had to build anything they wanted in a Bonneville Salt Flats style for our annual club build this year. This was mine. It's just a curbside, with a Jimmy Flintstone body. I call it the '53 Hudson Hornet Custom Special. I used Model Master Mystic Emerald and Inca Gold with DuPont 7480S clear. The tires and wheels are from a diecast. There really is tires under the rear end!
  9. Me too Mark!
  10. JoHan promo that I've had for probably 25 years or so. It was actually molded in a non-standard AMC color, except for the roof, so I recently corrected it and detailed it. It's now in the very rare Westminster Green with the factory (JoHan) applied Woodside Green metallic roof. I used Spazstix for the bumpers and wheels.
  11. My stash of hub caps. I think they are actually Mercury caps? They look very close to the AMC ones though.
  12. The custom was built by Jim.
  13. It's your shine! Lol. I'm just keeping it shiny for you!
  14. I built the stock Green Apple Mat and Crazy Jim Stepanek built the custom "World of Wheels" Mat. Just thought a few comparison shots was a cool idea.
  15. I ended up with Jim's build. I did change the wheels and tires to these.
  16. This was done years ago. I recently took it out and re-did the interior to make it correct, as well as some other detailing. The color is Cameo Beige. I sprayed this probably 30 years ago.
  17. Beautiful job and color!
  18. Thanks for all the kind words!
  19. Just beautiful! Love the color!!
  20. Super cool builds Al! I love the silver one. I think I'm going a similar route when I build this kit.
  21. The re-issue AMT Tee Vee Dune Buggy is actually a real buggy. It's the Berry Mini T. I used Model Master Citrus Yellow for a base, followed by Krylon Citrus Dream metal flake, then several coats of 7480S clear. Only part I used that was not in the box, are the vintage rear tires. I also applied yellow lines to the tires from Vinyl Nation. Good to be building again after a short hiatus.
  22. Cool looking build Jim! Interior is fantastic on this one. What can we scrounge up to fill that trailer with?
  23. Wondering if anyone is offering, or currently doing a '58 conversion for this kit?
