I use the Micoscale product. It works great. I have had this same problem with some Slixx decals. They sent me a bottle of the Microscale product and some extra decals. They told me that there was a batch of decals that did not coated. I have used the Testors spray decal coating as well and it works good too. I agree that you should not have to coat a new set of decals but you don't know before you use them and then it stalls your product because you have to contact the mfg. for a new set.

I had a little problem with the snakeskin decals in the current Cobra kit. When in doubt coat the decals first. It will save you a lot of headaches.

Hey Jake. I think your talking about the small box. If so it is a 1/40 th I think and it is a very simple kit that looks no where like the photo on the box. There are a couple of nice Daytona Cobra kits out there but one will cost you about 120.00 and the other ( a resin one) is closer to 200.00. I don't have either now. Had the Gunze kit but sold it when I got an offer I could not refuse. I will get another at some point.

I think the Miata is probably the best bang for the buck if you interested in a 2 seater but why do they seem to be thought of as a chicks car ? At least thats what I normally hear.
