Jim, I don't know what happened because I don't remember reading about that. I do want to say that if you were insulted in any way that was wrong. That is not why we are here. I feel we are here to support others in a hobby we all love. It is fair to give pro and con comments but it's not so much what you say as it is how you say it.

I was lucky enough to get an Aurora 1/16 Pinto funny car when it first came out. That was many, many years ago. That was one beautiful detailed model kit. Built it up and had it many years. Sold it on ebay about seven years ago. Stupid move on my part.

Saw some in HO scale but not 1/25 scale.

I think I can massage the slicks under if I don't go too low. I may have to narrow up the rear end or saw off a portion of the axel stub on the wheel. I really don't want to put the work into this one that would be required to get it as low as I would like. You know how it goes....you can never change just one thing. If you change one thing you will probably also have to change 2 others. Thats normally the fun stuff but I just don't feel like putting that much work into this one as I said.

I honestly believe I saw a bike done where all cabels were hidden. Can't remember where but I think it may have been on that Biker Buildoff show. I admit I could be wrong. I often am, just ask my wife ! : )

It could be one of those customs with the hidden cables. They do sometimes run them through the bars and frame. They do come out somewhere though. I like the bike but it probably would look better with the cables represented. Maybe next time.

I have been buying and selling on ebay since 1999 and must say with just a couple of exceptions it has been a positive experience.

Small update here. The front body panel / grill suround does not fit well. It is too wide. If you stretch the fenders to get it to fit then the hood doesn't fit right. I am just going to add some strips under the fenders to support the hood and hopefully make it look like a more proper fit. I filled the holes in the engine block and oil pan since I won't be using the metal axel. I dechromed the bumpers as they will be body colored. May try and get them closer to the body. I also made a rear spoiler/wing from some sheet plastic. The spoiler/wing may or may not make it onto the car not sure if I like it or not. It may be a bit large. Thanks for looking.

I will sometimes find the right size photos of gauges in a car magazine and then drill out the gauge on the dash and mount the photo from the back and then add some Kristal Klear ( ? ) to the front to add the look of glass over the photo.

Pretty much will be parts from the box so yes, it will be an AMC powerplant.
