  1. Thanks much !
  2. Thank you very much fellows. I was happy to finish this one.
  3. As an old kit it still goes together pretty good. If you use the chopped roof you need to be careful in cutting off the stock one. I was a little off on one of my cuts and had a little trouble with the window glass. I ended up cutting it apart and trimming it to fit. That was my fault and not the fault of the kit.
  4. This bugger was finally dry ! Only took a month ( almost ) ! Still has a sort of rubbery feel to it but I got tired of it sitting around. Got a couple of bumps and bruises from being in the box and moved around. Anyway, I removed the emblems and handles and the wipers. The parts box donated the hood scoop. I used the chopped top that came in the kit and I molded on the racing front end. The push bar was scratch built. Parts by Parks supplied the aluminum wheel discs. The yellow was not clear coated which is not normal for me but to be honest I just wanted this thing done. Comments pro or con are always welcome.
  5. Great looking wheel.
  6. Thanks men !
  7. Of coarse I did ! : ) Is it a Strombecker ?
  8. It's been darn near a month ! Actually it still feels a tad tacky or kind of rubbery if that makes sense. Not using this stuff again.
  9. Cool. Not what I expected.
  10. Thanks guys. I painted the stacks black because they are attached to the tree on the wide end. Can't easily remove them without screwing up the plating.

  15. After I get home. If I buy a Cobra I don't have ( usually on ebay ) I don't open it.
  16. I checked and it looks like the yellow paint on my 53 Studebaker is finally dry ! : )
  17. AMT's AWB Mustang funny car kit. Tried to build it more as a street freak so I left the wipers on and put a mirror on it. ( still wouldn't make a good street car ) Parts box donated the bench seat, the front tires, rear spoiler and the mirror. BMF on the front and rear window frames. Lowered the suspension. Removed some chrome. Added a forward brace to the roll bar. Did some simple engine wiring and added aluminum tube for the exhaust dumps. The color is Bronze One Coat Lacquer. These are simple quick kits that build up pretty nice IMO. Blue one shows stock suspension height. Comments as always are welcome.
  18. Mustang is done. Photos in the "Under Glass " section soon.
