Another Cobra rolled in today. Got this one on ebay for a buck. Don't much care for it but that never stops me from buying a Cobra.

I have a soft spot for Mustang ll's since I bought 2 new ones. Had a 74 Mach 1 ( yes 6 cyl ) and a 78 King Cobra ( low hp 302 ).

All different scales and different materials.

If you followed the build you know this was purchased as a incomplete started project model. I wanted to try and save it. Thanks to MsDano85gt for supplying me with the missing window glass. I did the best I could with what I had to work with. The engine I took from one of the Thunderbolt kits. Wheels I took from the 37 Ford kit. Had to modify the chassis a bit for the bigger engine. I sanded off the shallow molded taillights and used decals from the parts box instead. ( not real happy with results ) Also sanded off the molded in louvers on the rear pan and drilled holes for aluminum tubing as exhaust pipes. Drilled the dash and used gauge decals and then coated them with Krystal Klear. Used a round headed pin as a shifter. I still need to touch up somethings a but but I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. Now back to finishing the 62 Vette.

Another Cobra for the collection. This one has lights and sounds but I don't really care about that it's just a Cobra I didn't have.

Got this one painted yesterday. It's painted a GM orange/red. Decals from the parts box. Plan is to clear cote it tomorrow then detail paint and assemble.

Got these aluminum wheel discs from ebay. made by Parts by Parks. Very nice item. I suppose I could use them to replace the crummy wheel covers on the Vette I'm working on but I think I will save them for Studebaker salt car that is next on my list.

I did a fantastic trade with MsDano85gt. Had the window glass for my Monroe Handler kit and sent me so much more extras. Would trade with again anytime. Thanks !
