  1. Thank you much !
  2. I like them. I will admit there are better burgers such as Culvers and In and Out but when I was a young lad White Castle was the only place around where I was at 1 am in the morning. They have the frozen ones in the grocery store and I get them once in awhile but if you don't care for the fresh ones you would hate the frozen ones.
  3. Very nice.
  4. Very slick.
  5. Nothing special, just an out of the box build. Red with silver and black interior. Lots of decals for this interior. Paint not as smooth as I would like but I skipped a step or two just to get it done.
  6. This bugger is done. Photos in " Under Glass" soon if interested. Thanks
  7. Your doing some very fine work here. Will be a killer model when finished. Keep er' goin'.
  8. Some interesting ideas here. Because summer is coming on and being that we live in Arizona she really needs an inside hobby. I just ordered her a paint by number off of ebay for her to try. She thought she would not care for it but agreed to give it a try. We shall see. Thanks guys.
  9. Sounds like we gave up some pretty cool vehicles.
  10. I wish she would take up cooking/baking ! : ) So far I think scrap booking may be the one that suits her best. As long as it doesn't cut into my hobby money. : )
  11. Man, some of you fellows really got hammered this winter.
  12. Looks great.
  13. Sweet !
  14. Nice clean model.
  15. That's a shame. Put a listing for one in the "wanted" section. Maybe someone here can help you out.
  16. Thanks for the idea. My wife ( Debi ) would have a field day planning and doing our back yard. We bought the house we are in brand new about 7 years ago and still have not finished the back yard !
  17. Mine would have to be the 1978 King Cobra I bought brand new off the delivery truck at a Ford dealer in California. It was a cool car. Had the 302 like they all had but of coarse the hp was way down from what a 302 had or could have. Still it was a car you just did not see coming and going. Only kept it about a year due to gas going up and up and getting hard to get. I had a fairly long drive to work and needed something with better gas mileage. In hindsight I wish I would have kept it and just bought a beater for work. I often wonder what happened to that car.
  18. I am lovin' watching this replica come together. Looking forward to seeing it in person next month. Will you bring it finished or not ?
  19. Thanks for the ideas guys. I will run them by my wife.
  20. Cool. Funny you mention the window problem. I ran into the same thing when I built the same kit.
  21. After a trip to the movies ( saw "Non Stop " ) me and the wife went to Hobby Lobby which is right across the road. Picked up the 1/16 "T" as an impulse buy and with the 40 % off I paid about 22 dollars for it. The Cobra I bought well, because it's a Cobra. A set of AMT slicks and a organizer for some of my spare parts. The second photo shows a bunch of stuff I bought for some armor dioramas I plan on building.
  22. Just family type photo's or of stuff like the outdoors ?
  23. Wanting to know what some of your wives do as a hobby. The reason I ask is because today at Hobby Lobby picking up some models and supplies my wife said " I need a hobby ". What better place to try and find one that at a hobby shop ? I suggested jigsaw puzzles, a big fat no. Paint by numbers, a big fat no. Candle making , a big fat no. She does do a fair amount of reading but I think she wants something she can do and have something to show for it. We didn't discover anything but thought perhaps some of you may have a suggestion and no she is not interested in model building. : ) Thanks for any ideas.
