They are both chrome in the Falcon but the wipers are white. Does the Ponco have seperate fan belts for the engine like the Falcon ?

I was able to get some work done on this wip. have some stuff assembled and some stuff painted or primed. I think instead of the tire and wheels that come with the kit I will swap out for a set from a Revell 32 kit. Stock on right Revell one on left in photo. In all my 50 + years of building model kits I have never seen a kit packaged so well. Each "tree" is enclosed in it's own plastic bag. Some trees even have a thin foam wrap around them. To soon to know about the fit of the kit but the packaging sure is impressive.

Oh ya, we have some doozy of lightning storms ( as I call them ). This time of year the weather is beautiful. 72 today I think in the west valley.

Harry, no storms like that here in Arizona. If you don't mind roasting in the summer and a little dust storm once in awhile you might like it here. The monsoons are over rated. Back to Illinois, I still have a sister back there who lives in a little town called Justice. Lots of wind and rain but no tornados. Plus she lives in a mobile home park and we all know how much tonados love mobile homes. Good luck Patty !!! : )

I built one years ago when they first came out. Don't recall any major problems. It was destroyed by a visiting nephew. I have all 3 versions ( same kit but 3 different types of packaging ) in my collection and may build another some day. I will be looking forward to your build.

Hi guys ? Just wondering how many folks here enter their builds into any contests. Do others ( outside of us here ) get to see your finished works ? I myself have not in many years. I guess I kind of feel mine would just not measure up. Seems like it could be fun however. Also if it is not or has not been a topic maybe posting your contest winners would be interesting.
