  2. i posted this on the general forum by mistake so here is the link http://www.modelcars...showtopic=53897
  3. wish you told me that before.lol
  4. here are a d.m. 1/24th scale 1941 dodge pick up that i wanted to look like a truck abandoned and stripped over the years. can you guess wich one is the before truck. lol sorry the grass is not to scale.lol
  5. i use ruber cement on all my models tires. i even make my own tires out of soft rubber and never have any problems with them. it holds like iron and if you have to take them apart it comes of easy. get some goop clear for crafts or plumbing. i like the latter best.
  6. super great rust job. looks great with the wheels true rat rod. try taking some pictures outside but not in the direct sun overcast days are great for taking pictures of models.
  7. ###### cool looking merc. great job on weathering. james dean would be proud.
  8. this is a 1/24th scale motomax diecast 1979 chrysler lebaron t&c wagon that i rebuilt into a near complete car with a blown engine that has been towed into the yard. i just kinda threw this together last week while i was waiting for a few models to ship to me that i am going to junk out for a couple of customers. from the factory the model has opening front doors and hood but the back doors and hatch are sealed. so without putting to much time into it i made one back door open and the hatch open. took it apart aged and rusted it put in some side glass and this is what i got.
  9. thats just great. the guy with the oversized head and the dog crack me up. not to mention how much work and time went into this. i think this is so much more work than a standard model build. you must have some wild dreams.
  10. love the spider theme. just a real nice all around build. thanx.
  11. great truck. can you imagine something like this roaring up behind you on the highway.
  12. absolutly a sweet ride.
  13. i have been reading all of the replys to cranky's topic and i guess you may have guessed i would like to see something like this happen. on the other hand i think to some it would be like showing dirty diaper pictures on a new baby forum.lol
  14. great job fat and flat i like'em like this. and i echo everyone else on the dash. super
  15. i will try to remember most of what is in there. some of the items were in the danbury station when i got it.i just moved them or added things to them like the cigarette machine i added cigarettes and a mirror. the outside air conditoner i made from scrap things i had laying around the knobs are out of a 1964 chevy dash. the shelving came from a danbury mint coka cola truck i painted them aluminum color. a lot of the tools i scratch build and some come from kits or dollhouse. the lifts i made from car trailers and the poles are window parts. one lift can be locked in the up or down position and the other is battery operated to work.moving to the bathrooms. the mens room toilet is a cigarette lighter and it still works.lol cracks people up when they see fire coming out of it. the other toilet and the sinks are tootsie toy items i just aged them a little and added pipes. the rolls of toilet paper i made out of tissue glued on a small tube. the paper towel dispensers i scratch built from aluminum. the figures are just figures i had lying around .when i get a chance i will post some picture of it lit up at nite. underneath part will be set out of site on the junkyard diorama and one box enloses the workings for the auto lift and the clear box is for storing the outside items like pumps and other accessories. i have some other accessories like the tire machine and wheel balancer and a few other things that i have yet to put in.. hope this gives you some idea
  16. with aged trailer.
  17. not at all. glad to have your input on the station. i still have some accessories to ad to it and as for a place for outside things like tires and mufflers and garbage this staton is acually part of a bigger diorama so that stuff will be on the layout.in the spring i will take more pictures of it.
