  1. there could never be enough 48 fords it is a classic body style and you gave it new life. i love it. its smooth as water over a glass globe. sweeeeet.
  2. very simple diorama of a 1950 studebaker promo just left to rot in a field on private property in pa. sure does look lonely out there all by herself.
  3. this is a danbury mint 1956 packard caribbean convertable that i did for a friend of mine at the danbury mint. he wanted a distressed barn find car and this is what i did for him. just think of this car as found in buffalo ny. lol
  4. thanks for all the praise guys. as for the glass i mix real glass with the plastic glass on curved windshields. i use i believe it is 0007 thickness glass just thicker than a piece of paper. i then laminate the glass which allows me to break it any way i want then using a dremel with a grinding stone grind the edges to blend in. and thats it.
  5. by jove i think hes got it. super job great attention to detail. and thats it. your hooked. once rust gets in your blood you bleed orange.lol
  6. here are some close up shots.
  7. to this. this was an ertl 1 1/18 scale 1969 plymouth roadrunner. with real deep pockets it could be saved from the crusher.lol
  8. absolutly Curt. these shots are just the start and are basicaly mock ups that will change as i go. i have numerous pictures of the actual car that i am using. the posts are just wood that will be removed later. it will also be a complete diorama scene just after the ambush.
  9. spent the day yesterday making the back window posts and drilling bullet holes in the death car. i used a small dremel bit for the actual hole the a slightly larger drill bit for the dent the bullet makes when it hets the metal. i am building two at the same time as a spare time project and i will post more as i go along.
  10. hi! Jerry welcome to the show here. i almost did not get on this site. when i was asked if i was human i had to lie and say yes' otherwise they would not let me in.lol
  11. she sure is not a glue bomb anymore Baby thats one of the finest looking restorations i have seen in a long long time.i love it
  12. i started with a franklin mint 1/24 scale packard just like the one next to the junker.
  13. WOW"" great job on that promo. amazing paint work. i have a lot of promos that are warped and cracked and they make for a great junker. but some are restorable so i don't do those.again super job
  14. i think i recognize the back seat of that car.lol i love it great job
  15. i like it a lot and i like that era of poncho. you can try dry brushing the chrome paint on the letters if you don't want to use bare metal.there is also a chrome marker that may work tho i have not tried it on letters yet.
  16. this model is a 1934 packard that i distressed a few years back. this is the car you would find way in the back of the junkyard.
  17. this is going to be great. i like everyone else is on the edge of my seat waiting for the end result.and i realy like the p/up. cranky cranks out another one.
  18. i made this building to sit in the junkyard dio like the farmhouse. i don't plan on doing much more to it except i am going to ad fixed doors that are in the up position and some signs and fix some things like windows.i made it out of real clay bricks painted and aged to look like its been there awhile. it is very heavy. the soda cases in the building are d.m. coke cases that i repainted aged and made empty bottles and flavored sodas. i was selling them on ebay for awhile a few years ago.the building is a wharehouse that is sometimes used to do body and is not equiped except for cars in need of work.who knows maybe someday i will have the time to actually finish it. lord willing and the creek don't rise.lol
  19. this is a project i am doing for a friend in california. when complete and i can't say as to when that will be as i am doing it in my spare time will be a diorama in 24th scale of the ambush and murder of bonnie and clyde as it happened. here are a few pics of what is being done.this will take longer to do as i am doing two at the same time.the actual car is a 1934 ford four door sedan with a potters trunk on the back. in order to do this i 24th scale i will be using a franklin mint 1933 ford tudor sedan dillinger car. i will turn the two door into a four door and do a few mods to give it the right look using what parts i can find and making some. i painted the body of one of the cars in primer gray to make it easy to see where i may be putting the bullet holes. the dio will be complete with figures. i will post pics as i can on the project but it will be awhile.the first three pictures are the actual car with the bodies inside and is what the model should look like when done.i have no clue when i will finish.
  20. a lot of you guys must realy hate me at shows lol. :D i always show the same cars as they are a part of my junkyard. i do sometimes sell off one model and put one or more in its place. i would need an extention on my life to build another yard like this and as far as i know the big guy is not granting any..lol this year the yard will be a little bigger with the addition of the esso station and a couple new cars.
  21. sweet dio so nicley detailed. i like the shot looking out the windows at the grassy hill. just great.
  22. you know i like it.lol if it has dirt and rust its for me. great job.
