  1. Picked this one up today, got it cheap but all the chrome is missing! The chrome that was in the box looks to be from a 56 Ford pickup, if anyone has the chrome for this Willys or would the interested in he Ford chrome that was in the box shoot me a PM.
  2. Went to a 1:1 car show/swap meet today and made a couple purchases from the Model King himself! Very nice guy to talk to, i asked about any upcoming mopar kits he told me that he has a 65 Plymouth Belvedere in the works and that he also wants to do a 71 Dodge Demon! Which personally i would love to see that happen! He was very reasonably priced with his kits and i got a great deal on the decals!
  3. My current project the K.S.Pitman Willys. I been playing around with the settings on my camera trying to make my pics. look better, i think i'm getting there!
  4. Wow incredible detail!
  5. Actually it does have a nice shine to it, i don't know why it looks so dull in the pics.
  6. Gotta love those green Dusters
  7. Yep found it at Micheals, they have a bunch of different colors. I like the silver it looks like a semi gloss aluminum.
  8. The only thing i wish i would have fixed was the roll bar, didn't notice it until i had the body on but it looks to short!
  9. This was a quick build, fairly simple kit. Didn't like the plastic tires that comes with it so i swapped them out for rubber also swapped out the front wheels. Wired the engine with a MAD dist.(Love them!) and made new headers didn't like the others. Painted it with Krylon Short cuts, Pepper red.
  10. Ordered mine last night! I really like this kit also i have 4 versions of it built but i wish they would offer some options like wheels, tires and engines instead of them all being exactly the same except for the decals.
  11. My grocery getter 71 Duster 340 auto. 3.23 Sure grip, i drive it alot!
  12. Great job on the Willys Dr. Cranky, i have 4 of these kits myself in different configurations along with several of the older Revell HotRod kits! If you ever get to watch a movie called HotRod aka Rebel of the Road it features a primer grey Willys coupe, that's the movie that i fell in love with Willys coupes when i was a kid. Here are a couple grabs from the movie: hotrod79.bmp
  13. Looks like a really nice kit! Being a fan of finned Mopars are there any plans in the future for the late 50's early 60's letter cars?
  14. White interior is a good option or maybe even a tan but not sure how it would look with the yellow body.
  15. Almost half of what they are selling for on ebay
  16. Finally got an Auto Transporter, i been trying to find one for a decent price for quite a while! It's gonna be hooked up to a KW, this is gonna be my first big truck build should be interesting! Also scored the Iowa Shaker this week, looks like a good kit but why plastic tires and not rubber? They will definately be swapped out for rubber!
  17. Wow you guys do some incredible work!
  18. Nice RR! I will have my Duster at Carlisle again in July look for it if you go.
  19. Thanks for the info. 6bblbird, i'm a big Mopar guy myself i knew the brake booster wasn't right and i couldn't remember if the battery was in the trunk on them i knew they were in the trunk on the 60's super stock cars. Assuming by your username you own a 6BBL RoadRunner? What year? My brother has a 69 that our Dad bought brand new, he's in the middle of the restoration on it.
  20. Here's one i found a little out of the ordinary.
  21. Just finished this one, pre-wired dist. from M.A.D., super stock seats and wheels from Competition Resins. It's not perfect but i'm satisfied with how it came out.
  22. The High and Mighty!
