  1. If you look a few messages up, you can see what I did with my AMT 73 Mustang kit!
  2. I was behind a regular Mini Cooper out in the bush (crappy dirt roads, possibly wet, I don't recall). I was driving a Mazda R100 rotary, and I was having trouble keeping up with the thing.
  3. Well spotted then, considering how little of the Camaro outline is left. The windscreen and front portion of the roof, and some of the air dam are about the only parts that were not resculpted.
  4. Yup, he's already written that up in the rules at the top. None the less, there doesn't seem to be a lot of build activity or even interest yet. Perhaps then, this would be more relevant. It's a Revell Ultra-Z 1982/3 Camaro, by the way. An extremely modded one!
  5. Here are some more pics of the zibblefritzer. The plow is made from .005" copper foil. All of the struts are heavy copper wire. It is soldered together with resin cored solder. Inspiriation was the U.K. Robot Wars house robot "Shunt". The bug itself is some drag race/2 in 1 VW kit that came in a brown box. I forget the manufacturer, but it wasn't one of the American ones. The engine/power train and lower floor pan were taken from some glue bomb Tamia F1 car I picked up second hand. Rear wheels are obviously Revell truck front wheels. Probably off my Peterbuilt that got squished when my shelves collapsed. Edit: It was the IMC Union #MC05-1500 VW Gasser - Thanks Tony. Unfortunately the sprue for the drag car version interior etc. was missing from the box, and as I bought it from a dealer at a car show, I was stuffed.
  6. I went poking around a toy shop yesterday. Clearly I have discovered where you guys get your big wheels and tyres. For the record, I drew the picture before I went and bought the Henry J.
  7. I bought this thing in the 80's. It was a drag car, and was missing the sprue that had the internal fire wall etc. etc. on it . I turned it into a road warrior. Later on, I tossed everything but the body shell and did this. I do not know if I have a small box hiding somewhere with its doors and a few other parts, or if I threw everything into the parts box which I then sold on ebay. I'm working on it again. So far the only modifications have been paint.
  8. Something for inspiration. I have made this sort of thing in several scales. This example was 1:1 !
  9. What are the awesome little suspention units?
  10. I have spent quite some time looking through the 2012 Post Apocalypse/Zombie Hunter Community Build forum. It's not something I can really join in, with me being in Australia. I'm happy enough to share my progress either here or there though, depending on which the community prefers. In the mean time, here's the start of my build. Extended frame, and air bag suspension. For the air bags, I used some vibration mounts from something like a CDRom player. Exact details escape me as I've pulled hundreds of things apart and kept the interesting bits.
  11. Sounds like my sort of build! Lets start with my concept sketch.
