I will be getting the Revell/Monogram 1/24 Countach kit soon. I've been doing my research on the details, but am having a hard time finding diagrams of the ignition wiring, mainly where the wires go from the dual distributors. Would anyone have such a diagram? Also, pics of this engine built would be of great help.............!! Thanks for any help with this..........

I like it, especially the next to last pic...! It has a mild custom look to it without the crown trim..........

This one is "The Pilcher's Squad" by Primus............. It's about a real cop who used to plant evidence to bust pop stars and musicians.......
-
You posted that song yourself, Friend............ Don't worry though, I think I've reposted some myself....! It's difficult to keep up with after about the 250th page.......!

Very cool helping me keep this one going, friend........ I believe we have covered this song, though..........

There's a member called slammedi'am that has built a stellar example of one....... just search for him in "members" then look at his profile...... I just took a look at it, it's really nice............. -
Though it was determined before the intrudence the plot was fully cleared, when Pilcher arrived and gave his inspection, the hashish magically appeared.......

Priming under vinyl dye?
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks for the replies, fellas........! I will do a "spoon test" as soon as I get the dye...... I'm wanting to do a Countach white with a dark red interior I've used these dyes on actual vinyl 1:1 parts, never on plastic, though........ -
nevermind........... sorry.......!

Hey, guys........ I want to try some dye for the interior of my next project, a dark burgundy color, and was wondering if I will need to prime the parts to be dyed first......... The kit is molded in white, and the vinyl color will be DupliColor............. Thanks for any help....!

Thanks a bunch, Guys.............!

Calling this one finished! Just a few custom touches, wheels and tires from a Corvette, Skirts, Impala steering wheel, everything else comes in the kit........ This is one of my favorite kits and subjects..... Any and all comments welcome........!

Cover versions of songs by "nobodies"
JollySipper replied to Harry P.'s topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I'm surprised that Tool lets anyone do covers of their music..... You can't even download MP3s of their stuff, or listen to it on internet music sites. If you want to hear their music, you have to buy the album........... -
Hey, Guys..........! I thought about the two tone, but the tab on the body that goes between the rear fenders would have to be painted to match the fender unit....... If it's nice out tomorrow, I can reprime and prep, hopefully the next day paint and clear.........
-
Harry, I don't think but about a third of your's have been answered, if that many.........!

I left my throne a million miles away, I drink from your tin, I sing your blues every day, Now give me the strength to split the world in two, I ate all the rest and now I gotta eat you.................

"My Friend Fats" by Primus................

Well, I got the fenders stripped the best I could, I used oven cleaner and it made pretty quick work of the paint! The body was fine, I just hope I can get the silvers to match the body to the fenders.........
-
Yep! Correct.............

I drove a similar truck just across my state to Tennessee, It burned a set of points and had over-heating problems.......... To drive an old truck the distance you are talking, you would have to stock up on a few parts, (I would anyway) like an ignition module, ballast resistor, points and condenser, maybe flush the radiator and change the water pump......... Hot Rod magazine editor and Road Kill host Freiburger has rescued a few cars from the desert and drove them to California, so a car that has been sitting a while making the trip is possible, if you take the proper precautions...... By the way, I love the old sweptline trucks, and will own another one day..........
