  1. Design and build what You like and the right people will follow and admire.............
  2. The earliest I remember building by myself was a 1/32 '55 Chevy........... It was molded in blue. It had aluminum slot wheels, and side-pipes and such! I thought it was the coolest thing........
  3. 'Legit' is something you don't want to be too much of, or you won't be able to quit...........
  4. That's awesome! I bet the graphics are terrific............
  5. I've made a few changes to some of my bills, and I've learned some energy-saving tricks that have helped lower my power bill some........ The power bill is down like $15 from normal, and I ditched the landline, which is saving me another $30 or so. Just trying to create a little breathing room in my budget, and it's working!
  6. I believe the only movie I've seen that was exactly like the book was Lord of the Flies............ But it wasn't a hollywood-made movie!
  7. 'Blade' was a pretty decent movie, and the '68 Charger he drove was right neat........
  8. When I was in my teens in the '90s, my friends and I would go to neighboring towns and look at the new car inventory! The Mustangs, Camaros, etc........... I remember looking at the S10 Xtreme pickups when they were new. I wanted an R/T Dakota, but never could afford one...... Cars were still exciting in the '90s, just for different reasons than the '50s!
  9. Pain in your tummy is just natures way of telling you that you shouldn't have had that chili for breakfast............
  10. Funny thing about weekends when you're unemployed. They don't mean quite so much, except you get to hang out with your working friends........... -Les Claypool.........
  11. Tomorrow is hopefully a good day for you, it being Monday and all..........
  12. Defibrillator be darned, I'm gonna eat this here Porterhouse..............
  13. The whole 'service animal' thing is becoming kind of a joke, man...... More of a money racket than anything else! With enough funds, you too can have your elephant registered as a service pet! Emmett is a registered ESA with a real company. He doesn't get to go into stores or any of that, as he's 'just' an ESA. I felt no need to go full-blown service dog with his registration, as I don't feel that entitled............
  14. Seems like there was some kind of.... trouble................. Trouble with Tribbles...............
  15. Guys, I went looking around today for a bike. It must be too close to Xmas for anyone to have any. The pawn shop had one kids bike, like a BMX style. But, I have an appointment in the next town next month, where I'm sure I'll have better luck! In the meantime, here's an inspiration pic!
  16. You can judge a man by what he's not capable of more-so than by what he is.............
  17. Ever see the episode where Batman says, "Robin, hand me the Bat-scissors...."?
  18. 'Year In Review' posts from JollySipper will be coming up empty this year, as I didn't complete a single kit!
  19. Les, is it a 'rent-to-own' deal, where it will eventually be yours?
  20. Myself, I would think zero would be the loneliest number...........
  21. I would be all about a modern version of Smokey and the Bandit if the hero car was one like in my OP! Those cars can outperform the original T/A in every way, acceleration, handling and top end! But, then again so could your S2000! LoL.............
  22. The guy who ran the shop Arnie worked at had a yellow Tucker in the book, if I remember right........... I really enjoyed the book! Read it in my mid-teens......
  23. Hello, guys! Just curious...... if you could choose the car to do a modern remake of 'Christine', what would you choose? With my example I tried to keep in mind how old the Plymouth was in the movie (about 25 years old). The last generation of the Trans Am would make for a super cool movie hero (?) car! It's both menacing and sensual, just like Christine was! Anyway, what would your star car be?
  24. Made something this evening Mom used to call 'Hobo Pie'........ She would cut up russet potatoes and fry them in a bit of oil. Then in went some cut-up hotdog franks and cheese. She had to be creative on the type of budget we had! The only difference from hers was I used tater tots............... Usually she made cole slaw to go with it.
  25. I've seen that episode! I believe I've seen all of them....... I always thought the maintenance guy was a smart character!
