"There's a time, and the time is now,
and it's right for me, and it's right for me,
and the time is now,
There's a word, and the word is love,
and it's right for me, and it's right for me,
and the word is love"...............
"She gave me ideas, planted the seed,
but she never stopped to reflect,
The course that she's on, where ever it leads,
I never would redirect".........
An awesome song that I guarantee noone will guess....
A lot of what I listen to is instrumental jam-band stuff..... Perpetual Groove, some of Les Claypool's bands have a lot of long instrumental songs, and of course Phish, who most guys here don't listen to, so noone would ever guess the lyrics...........
"One, Two, Three, Four".........
Nah, just kidding on that one....... Here's one to guess....
"Burning, I feel a burning in my stomach,
I wanna know if I'm a gonna make it,
If I don't, just spread my ashes,
If I do, just spread your mind"...........
Well, friends, I finally located some needles, so I'll be lacing up the sails now....... wish me luck!
Will show pics when I make more progress.........
I have one...... There are two collets (sp?) one in the end and one in the handle. It can hold 4 series of bits. Take it apart and see if there is another collet in the handle.....
Had the same problem when I got mine.......
Here is the masts all standing....!! I also ran the basic rigging. The color of the photos is way off, but it was the only way I could capture the rigging well.....
Feel free to comment, it's always appreciated.......!
"Yea, Lois Lane, please put me in your plan,
Yea, Lois Lane, you don't need no Superman,
C'mon Downtown and stay with me tonight,
I've got a pocket full of Kryptonite"............
Thanks, Ken and James......... I'll do as the instructions say and as you guys say. Learning as I go that this isn't a car model, and it's best to follow the order suggested....
Thanks again......!!
Here's the front mast standing! It's not glued in place, yet....... A question for anyone who has built this, would it be easier to tie the sails to the yards before I stand the masts?
I was looking through the instructions, and it says to stand all the masts, then tie the sails, but that looks to be pretty difficult...........
Interested to hear what you have to say, and thanks for looking in........!!
