Very nice build, great job on the weathering looks very realistic. Put this outside and take some pics and I bet some people have trouble telling the difference. -
Love the colors, nice clean build. When I was a kid I loved the Cab over trucaks when I was a kid, was so cool going for rides with my uncle and being able to look straight down at the road

Engine 51 resurrected
Heartattaq replied to Chariots of Fire's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Very nice clean build. Like Bigbad I would love to see the engine as well. Are the hoses molded or did you scratch build, they look great -
That nose gives the cab an almost animalistic look to me. I fan hardly believe it is a scratch build. Beautiful job mate be proud of your talents, I hope you have a kid or nieces and nephews to pass this talent along to.

I haven't really come to the truck section as it isn't my genre but BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH there some talented modelers here. Nice job -
Wow, I really am speechless, this has to be the most realistic model I have ever seen. Like everyone else I thought they were pics of the real thing. You sir have a talent most of us can only dream of having, I would love to see more of your work Also your weathering is the best I have seen in the hobby. And that scratchbuilt excavator, wow just....wow

Don't give up hope, when I was 18 I was knee deep in nascar models lol, I didnt drift away from the hobby till my early 20's and that was because of college, work and a new baby. He will come around soon and see Models are much more important than 'Models' lol Keep it up

Man, I hope you realise the amount of talent you have, this build is insane. If you don't have a kid to pass this talent on to, grab one off the street and start training him or her lol.

did this build hit a snag? I was really loving this thread

not sure if it is something you would be interested in. but, for me personally, I would LOVE to watch a video of you machining the engine parts.

24 Hour Build Project....Tim Richmond's '87 Monte Carlo
Heartattaq replied to roadhawg's topic in WIP: NASCAR
amazing job, better than I could do in a month of sundays. Didn't mean to sound snide about the window net, was a serious question as I havent built any early model stock cars, and very few newer models, so I did not want to assume I knew. Anyhow great build, and love the idea of doin it in 24 hours, setting challenges like that can take the monotony out of a build. -

Lookin awesome so far, question about the window net, shouldnt it be the other way around if it is hanging down? Like the long edge attached to the bottom bar? -
Beautiful start, man it is hard for me to envision Kulwicki in anything but a hooters car lol

http://www.colourlovers.com/color/03D10C/Go_Daddy_Green check that site. I think the places that sell automotive paint can custom mix any color if they have the code, which is included in that link. Hope it helps.
