  1. Deal, pm me.
  2. i hadn't thought of that one either. i'm leaning towards its native turbo setup but i'll keep that one in mind
  3. It sure isn't just a warm-air intake and brace similar to the bullitt kit.
  4. .........hm. I REALLY was trying to keep the rest of the car SVO... But that's tempting. I have the Hertz kit in the corner after all.
  5. That's a bit of an annoyance to deal with for me lol. But FB msg me i dont want to further derail your wip
  6. Yes, but the tooling is more detailed. it looks so much beter.
  7. i used the one in kinda like a tub. maybe i didn't use it right but it made a mess in the seams of the body
  8. i tried the turtle wax polishing compound. maybe i didnt get the right one, but i hated it so much
  9. That looks real slick. can't even tell it's a graft. Keep it up!
  10. Yeah that 87 TC I ordered this morning will supply the go-go. The turbo in this kit isn't as inspiring visually as the one they tooled for the Thunderbird. I'll do some wires and what-not once i get to motor stage.
  11. That's looking so good what do you use for polish by chance?
  12. Thanks... There's like NO parts to this kit. It could be a weekend builder really lol. I'm trying to find other ways to spice it up a bit.
  13. Was able to get some focused progress in this evening. Fixed up my nose to the best of my ability and laid some red down. Chassis and exhaust are in, but seem simple. I'm considering SOME wiring underneath but don't know where to start.
  14. Looks like a tricky wrap. how'd they do?
  15. Thanks guys appreciate it... Hey Randy did u build an 'imagining' of your 66?
  16. Glad to hear it was efficient for ya. Some kits take a few mins some take a few weeks it seems lol.. Sounds like a good colour plan can't wait to see.
  17. Thanks Carl I appreciate it. It was my first 70Boss kit, and I learned a few process things for next time. It was a real bear.
  18. No problem, it works really well.
  19. I never had luck with oven cleaner, but purple power and a plastic container with a lid. Just drop it in there, lid on and come back tomorrow.
  20. Very well done and nice work on the wheels, they can be tricky to get down right. Good stuff.
  21. Yeah I PM'd chief earlier, i hope this gets off the ground!
  22. Put in orders this morning for each. One I didn't know existed before Tuesday, and the other for a project of its own..
  23. Right now I'm undecided. Its either the box SVO engine, or the 87 Thunderbird TC engine which looks better. (IMO)
  24. Thanks for the link Doug, i know there's great tips n tricks there. Never joined but his writeups there are good.
