  1. BEAUTIFUL..........
  2. Stupendous and beautiful................your work is consistently awesome.
  3. My Good Buddy John - your details and subtle weathering smack me in the face !! It looks REALLY good.
  4. Master Stump, thank you for the great update. It looks ssooooooooooo good.
  5. John - WOW- and using the exact same paint used on the real car, you can't get any more authentic than that.
  6. Kudos to you for picking things up and pushing on...........that's encouragement to me.
  7. Looking forward to updates on that too.
  8. Great results Charlie. What's next on the table?
  9. James (Jimmy) - almost forgot - you can't put me in the same category as Chris. Ha. I am the student, he is a master. Thank you for the encouragement.
  10. Chris - thanks my good friend. I appreciate the encouragement. Still feeding on your Snake funnycar build. Ron - thanks for looking in and for the encouragement. James - No the Dragfest is cars. If you go to the 1:1 photo section and search for the Bruce Larson dragfest you can find pics I posted. Some day I hope to visit the Garlits museum. The floorpan is stock. That's the way it was made. Clearance for the bellhousing I guess. I don't know where Waterford is but hopefully it's not too far from Dauphin,PA where Bruce has the barn. I appreciate the comments and questions. James - loved the minibike story.
  11. Thanks my California Brother. I've been trying to get bench time in after the lawn work.
  12. I got the frame in primer along with the fire bottles which will be rounded instead of having the Revell grooves in them. And the roll cage part of the frame is painted red awaiting the flat blk for the padding. I also added a pic I found of the completed car. Thanks for looking.
  13. Great update and looking for more.
  14. I assume by now you have a Masters in Riveting and soon a Masters in Mudslinging. Ha. Everything looks great and down the road when you look over the car you can say I'm glad I fixed this and that instead of letting it go.
  15. James, that made me laugh. I am always looking for small parts that can be used in building cars. The small PE looking tabs on the top of the frame rails were small electrical clips I salvaged from something being thrown out. They will be part of the front "suspension" if you can call it that. Thanks for looking. I'll have more posted later today. Have you ever been to Bruce's barn to see his cars or to the Dragfest in November?
  16. Looking great Scott. The PE template for wheel screws is a good idea. Try not to lose any more sleep. Just one thing at a time.
  17. I like 'em all, especially the green pickup. I really like the contrast with the rust and a little chrome.
  18. Dave - any updates? I'm going into withdrawal.
  19. Thanks guys I appreciate it. James - the green plastic came from one of the bread clips.
  20. I like it. Looking forward to more.
  21. Here is Bruce attaching the fire bottles when the car was being built.
