  1. Actually looks like it was fabricated 1:1 and shrunk down. Incredible.
  2. Wow !! What a great update. It all looks awesome.
  3. Looks really good so far. Keep going....
  4. Looks great so far. I like the story idea behind it. I'll be the first to admit I don't know what rules govern the different classes, but I'm sure you'll have fun with this build.
  5. Yes, more please.
  6. Looking soooo good Chris. I just got back from the future.....I was reading your post on page 4012....you were polishing the lug nuts. Ha. Looking forward to more.
  7. Looks good so far. I'll bet the 1:1 car would be a real handful.
  8. http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Jordan.htm this might have been posted before, but I thought these small mills were outstanding. They are fully functional. Tim - your engine is the top. Wow. Chris is right.....you made a huge penny to throw us off.
  9. Good ol' hindsight. I look at previous builds and say - if I'd only known.... The mockup looks great. I need another, bigger hard drive to copy more info/pics on here.
  10. Any new update Chris? Looking forward to more Army Vega coming to life.
  11. The latest work is looking really good Scott. Another source for learning.
  12. The paint and graphics look excellent.
  13. More great stuff Tim. I learn a lot more by seeing works in progress like these instead of just seeing a finished piece. Keep going.
  14. Super results Chris. They will be very convincing when together. Your attention to detail and realism is inspiring. I never realized that the dust out there was such a problem. Here it's the humidity in summer. Prevents me from painting in the garage. We all have our drawbacks.
  15. Thanks Tim. I just checked out that page and understand. Good info.
  16. Thanks for the diagram. The 6/32" I see near the baseline is the ground clearance for the body? The couple cars I've started that will not have the kit rears, I have the body ground clearance where I want it, but have a problem figuring out how to correctly attach the rearend to the chassis to keep that same clearance because I have to flip it upside down to attach it, since the wheel wells come attached. I know, good ol' fashioned mockups help. Your diagram helps.
  17. Dave those comparison pics are great. The wheels you make are the Top. Appreciate your willingness to teach us.
  18. Excellent job. This is going to look great.
  19. Tim, I'll be studying these pics for awhile. I feel like I'm in class. Thanks for showing us the jig.
