  3. Thats awsome thanks. I'm going to have to try it
  4. Cavemanx , its actually red the lighting and camera gave it an odd color in the pics. Blunc, I really didn't notice how bad that seem line was until I had it installed. I should know better I was a mechanic by trade for a number of years Lol. It was more an excercise in wheathering and engine detail for me. Thanks for the comments all are welcome thats how I learn and get better Jeff
  5. I don't get it either. That's the what the kit came with. It's molded to the chassis pan. I didn't have anything to try and make it look better so I just left it as is.
  6. Here's another one I just finished up. This is my first time trying to add weathering. I added the plug wires, fuel line, heater hoses and an air injection system. I'm still trying to scrounge up a decent looking battery and some mirrors for it. Thanks for looking Jeff
  7. That cup is to cool. How'ed you make it? and the rest of the build looks killer to.
  8. Ok after reading your post the way I see it. You made good on the promises that were broken by 3 others. You over came a number of dilema's. You helped a kid, who's had a tuff life so far ( that's just an assumption but most in the foster system do) win a second place. This is not a disaster build in my eye's but more of a victory build and you should be very proud and deserve one hell of a pat on the back and a big hug. Thank you very much for sharing this Jeff

I just finished this one up. I did the hood to try an take attention away from the roof issue. And I still need to do something about the radiator and take care of a couple of under hood details but I'm calling it done for now. All comments good or bad and questions welcome. Thanks for looking Jeff
  10. As a huge Scout fan I must say that looks awsome
  11. Great job. very unique style
  12. Hi all I heard from Sean earlier in the week and from the sounds of it he should have them ready soon..All I did was create them and he cast's and sells them so you'll need to contact him for the pricing and details. But in the mean time here's a couple of better pics of the Formula/TA hood he has to offer. Thanks for the interest Jeff
  13. Wow is that going to be beautiful. You have to finish it. Any idea what color. I'm pictureing it in Ferrari red, British racing green and Shelby blue and think it would look awsome in anyone of them. But in my opinion it needs a color as unique as it is.
  14. I was wondering if anyone would pick it out. Kudo's to Mike and John. Yes that is one of the original fiberglass bodies. The original builders had to make there own substructure to support it because of how thin and flimsy it is.
  15. Yup that's Star. It's under new ownership now and has much better food now.
  16. Dirty Mary Crazy Larry one of my favorate car flicks. Any more pics of the Charger and where'd you get the stripes for it?
  17. She was saying after putting them on she liked the wide whites alot better and that when she where's them out shes going to but the wide white radials on,but how much she drives it she'll probably have the ww by the end of the season. She uses it almost daily as long as its not going to rain she's drivin it.
  18. So this cars been going to the cruise nights in my area for a few years and I've talked to the owner a number of times. It seems that when I have my camera its not at the cruise night and when it shows up I don't have my camera. The cruise gods smiled on me tonight and I finally got some pics. First the story. Car was completed and put on the road in 1958. The current owner bought the car in 1963 and drove it regularly for 17 years. Then family and kids started taking presidence so the car was parked in a garage and stored properly. In 2009 the owner took it out made a few upgrades (alternater, radial tires and a rack and pinion) but otherwise untouched and drives it regularly since. So with out further adue here is a real hot rod. And here is the owner next to it that bought the car in 1963. The little old lady from Middleboro Thanks for for looking Jeff
  19. Looking good so far. I always like these in the green. As for as changes go, the only visible differences are the seats. The low back with the adjustable head rest was 701/2 only after that they used the high back style seat with some different upolstery depending on option. But that only matters to the rivet counters. Keep going I'm looking forward to seeing done. Jeff
  20. Nice patina and a great looking rake. Good job.
  21. That looks awesome. I'm a huge Scout fan. Thats what my screen name is based off of. International Harvester Super Scout
  22. I bought a few things from them when they first reopened about a year ago. No issues all the parts were excellent in quality and I got them alot faster than I had expected coming from down under. If they have something you are thinking about ordering do it you'll be very happy you did.
  23. Thanks for all the kind words guys
  24. LOL I thought of that as I was building it Harry, but I have no drivers to add so I just said the h*** with it and went for it. Thanks Chuck thats my favorite pic of it to. Just wish I had some road to put it on to make it look the part a little more.
  25. Heres my 63. Since Iv'e had these wrinckle wall slicks I used the lowrider hydrolics suspension to give a hard launching look. Then added the 409 from a 60 Impala kit that I wired and plumbed. Thanks for looking Jeff
