Heres my 63. Since Iv'e had these wrinckle wall slicks I used the lowrider hydrolics suspension to give a hard launching look. Then added the 409 from a 60 Impala kit that I wired and plumbed. Thanks for looking Jeff

I wasn't expecting an award or anything. But with how much work I put into the conversion I thought it might get noticed, but it was like it wasn't even on the table.

Mini 49 Mercury Hand built video
IHSS replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Five years is what it said in the video -
I had a similar problem. If the saw is 240 your loosing one leg of your power feed. My house had a bad conection at the feed coming in to the house. I would loose half the power but if I turned on my clothes dryer it would power up all the dead outlets and lights. Open your breaker box and use a multi meter and check the feeds coming into the box. Good luck

There still claiming that there was an explosion at JFK they just don't know if it was a bomb or not. There have been 2 additional bombs found and disarmed. There also searching the entire 26 mile route for multiple packages found along the route.
-
So today was the Boston marathon, and two bombs went off. Right now there are 2 dead and 23 injured. A third bomb went off at the JFK library in Dorchester about an hour later. No injuries or deaths at the third one as of the moment. This is pretty messed up they don't know if it was terrorist or who it was. No groups have claimed it yet.

http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=70517&hl=%2B70+%2BfirebirdMonty you are correct. I started with the monogram kit I know most people prefer 1/25th but this was my first time trying anything like this so I needed a good starting point. I'm setting up a photobucket account at the moment so bear with me I should have photos up soon. I added a link to the green one I did with just the Formula/Trans Am hood . -

Hi guys I'm the one that mastered the firebird Sean offers. I just jumped on today to send Sean a pm about the hood and air cleaner. They are done I just need to get them sent out to Sean. I'll try to post up some pics later of the finished car so you guys can check it out. Sean I'll shoot you a pm alittle later My little guys ready to go to the playground so thats first. Thanks Jeff -
I recently finished one of these. Many times it almost met the wall with force. I still can't figure out how it got completed. It does help to have a few other kits to mess around with.

Hardhitter thank you. And I just used proggresivly larger drill bits. I think I ended with a 1/8" bit but I'm not positive.
-
I had to drill out all the holes except the 3 in the console. It just didn't look right on the box pics with the decals.

Heres a pic of the chassis For some reason its not letting me post pics
-
Thanks guys. Those are the wheels that came with it,ot also came with the wire wheels and a set of crager ss style wheel for the drag slicks. Theslicks are pad printed blue streak with 2 thin ww tires for the front. It also came with an awsome set of metal velocity stacks for the injection option. Monty I'll put some engine and chassis pics up tomorrow. And if any one is interested I'llput up a couple of pics of the tires and stacks.

Thanks guys. I tried to get a couple of closer pics of the hinge. Ther not very good I'll try and get some better ones tonight. Jeff

This was a fighter. It seems like just about every piece either broke or did.t fit. I had to add shims to get the front end to line up. The front suspension I cut off and added a straight axle and put a pre wired distributor on it. Thanks for taking a look Jeff

Wow, alot of work nicely done.

Midnightprowler I'm not sure what wheels they are. I got them in the early 90's. They were in a blister pack with the rims on a sprue and the tires just pushed on about half way.
