  1. Just pre-ordered mine! https://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ12640/Aut
  2. Oh the modeling possibilities if this ever came out as a kit.
  3. Ah, thanks for that!
  4. Going to have to go check their site for that street Lotus. I knew they would do one!!! Don't see it on their site. http://www.fujimimokei.com/item/category/33 Where did you here they were doing a street version?
  5. It would definitely be priced between the Camaro and Caddy. The engine already exists in the Caddy ATS-V, the chassis obviously already exists (it's not a one-off chassis), it's basically what Chevy did with the ATS, put a Camaro body on it. I doubt Buick would have to spend too much to do the same thing that Chevy did. And yes, Buick is HUGE in China. That there is a huge factor toward production. That fact that it uses so much off the shelf parts, is drop dead gorgeous, and by show goers and internet response, is hugely popular, I think production would be likely.
  6. Introduced at this years Detroit Auto Show was this concept from Buick. The Avista Coupe. Built on the same chassis that's under the new Camaro and Cadillac ATS this concept packs rear wheel drive along with a 400hp twin turbo V6. I really hope this car goes into production because I would love to have a kit of this on my shelf!
  7. Just got this in the mail, The Lotus sub car from the James Bond movie "The Spy who Loved Me". Nice curbside kit. Crisp detail in the body. Chrome reflectors for all clear lenses is a nice touch. The way the kit is engineered, I'm sure we will see a street version as well. Fujimi has a winner on their hands with this long sought after movie car.
  8. Nice job on both kits! The Fujmi kits look great. I used the puffy emblems on my Hasegawa 348 and thought they looked great as well.
  9. Thanks, the Spaz Stix is actually designed for Lexan RC car bodies. It designed to spray the chrome on the inside of the clear body first and then backed by black. Thankfully, reversing the process for our plastic model car bodies and whatnot, does result in a nice semi chrome finish.
  10. Thanks guys! I used Spaz Stix on the rims for the 348ts. Painted them gloss black and then rattle canned them with the chrome spray.
  11. Love the color!I'll need to do one of these!
  12. Thanks guys, I'm against red Ferrari's, LOL Next up is a red over black Tokyo Marui 512 BB.
  13. Thanks! Here's a few of the two of them together...
  14. I put the Hasegawa Ferrari 348ts in the photo booth today for some proper "beauty" pictures.
  15. Thanks guys. I didn't want to do another "red" Ferrari. But I kept the red in the stripes!
  16. Beauty pics posted in the Under Glass section.....
  17. Monogram Ferrari 308 Racer finished and off the bench!
  18. Calling this one done. Finished adding the rest of the photo etch and the emblem stickers. Love those things, much better than decals as they are 3 dimensional emblems. Here is a teaser pic, more beauty pics coming latter today once I get a sheet of poster board.
  19. Finally got the wheels and tires mounted. Had to make custom axles out of clear acrylic rod. Added the red tape stripe down the side, looks pretty good I think, ties the color to the side of the car. Still a few more details to finish up this weekend.
  20. Thanks Dave! Thinking about adding a red tape line down the side belt line in the groove. I may give it a shot. If I don't like it I can remove it.
  21. And the masking comes off! Tuner Ferrari!
  22. Strictly a curbside. It has a better body shape than the Magnum P.I. kit by Revel, although that is a GTS. I thought about grabbing another Racer or the stock one and marrying the body with a Hasegawa 328 chassis. This is not my build, but it's the stock Monogram kit.
  23. Thanks for all the comments guys! Red laid down, stripes masked off and clear coated to seal them. Next up is the satin black by Tamiya. Also made new exhaust tips too.
  24. Body in primer. Paint job will be satin black with red racing stripes. I think I'll do the rims black with the centers red to tie into the bodies paint job.
  25. Loved this car ever since the original silver open top version concept came out. A company (years ago...) made a prebuilt model of it that sold for a few hundred dollars. I think the company was called Scale Dreams or something like that. It was the silver version of this car before they repainted red.
