This looks AWESOME!! One of the few I actually read all of the posts! Keep it up! Mike -
This looks interesting! Very cool! Mike

Thanks everyone for all the comments! I will definitely NOT rebuild this one or maybe even my first 3 models. They were all done within a year or so.
-
Ya the more I think of it the more I like the idea! It kind of like the first dollar you ever made in your own business! Thanks for all the great comment guys! I really love this site and all of the people on it! Mike

All of my models have little things wrong with them like not painting at the same time so i had to use a different red for the hood and the nose for the 64. When I painted the purple one i painted too thick and the paint is cracking on the silver one. Good luck on your 64! Cant wait to see it when its done!! Mike
-
Ya, I dont want to hijack your thread so Ill just post a couple of pics. The purple one is my 1st model ever, the silver one is my 3rd, and the 64 was my 2nd one. I also have the 72 in primer now. I also have some Rally II for the 72. Keep up the great work! Mike

These are my models. From left to right. 69 GTO (First model ever), 68 GTO (Third Model), 64 GTO (Second Model) The orange one is my current WIP, a 72 GTO! And now for my all time favorite picture of my models! Thats all I have so far! Everyone else's look amazing!!

Ok I like that idea! I never thought of that. I have come a long way since that model. I recently tried to add plug wires to a 72 GTO im working on. It look alright for my first time! Mike Yep Thanks!! Mike

Hey this was my first model i had ever built. I built it about 5 years ago when i was 11. I ran out of the purpleish maroonish color and painted the hood and front bumper blue. It sat like that for about a year or two until i found the purple paint again and finished the paint job. These pics dont show it but after it sat for another 6 months or so and i decided, "It can't get any worse.". So i decided to be stupid and try to lower it! lol it didnt work very well and the wheels are cambered out because i didnt take into affect that the body will hit the tire and slant them. Soo it looks real bad not but ill try and go rebuild it one day. Hopefully i post these pics correctly, I havent been on here for a while. Nothin to write home about, (Still a few things left to re-glue.) but i figured id share my first model with you guys! Mike Still a few things left to re-glue.

65 Chevy Pick up
Odaroloc24 replied to Odaroloc24's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Well I haven't been able to work on this one for a long time. We moved from Kansas to Alaska. One of the big challenges I have had with building models lately would be living in a RV. We moved into the RV about 10 months ago to get ready to move to Alaska. So i haven't really had the space to work on them. This model has been put on hold for the moment. I painted the rear axle but it kept falling apart. I also scratch built a front axle but i used some foam to make the yoke but when I painted it it melted and fell off. Sooo I moved on to my next model, a '72 Pontiac GTO! I have it in primer now and hopefully will be putting up a build thread soon. So for now this one will remain in the box until i can work up the courage to try and tackle it again. Mike -
Man this thing is Awesome! Im a big Pontiac guy and always look out for the Pontiac builds. I built a '64 GTO 4-5 years ago when i was 11. It looks terrible but it was my 2nd model. I may rebuild it after im done with the '72 GTO im working on now. Going to be putting up a build thread on that soon. Keep up the great work! Those wheel and engine look real nice! Mike
