Kid Pulls up to stoplight in stock 97 F150 next to this old beast"Betcha mines faster" Green light, the old trucks already a mile ahead. Kid says "DANG he showed me". Oh I love how some people think because their vehicle is newer or louder its faster, i literally watched a couple kids in a honda try and race a 2000 corvette lets just say they got a head start and they lost miserably. Love this old truck

I seem to recall a picture of little me when i was young with a model that won the hobby outlook contest when i was in 3rd grade, great to know theres some people even younger than me and my brothers building still. Sorry to photo bomb.

Replacement but oddly enough it blew a spark plug 2 days after i bought it. So im still out a truck atleast til i fix my new beast. Unlike the sport this xlt is rust free underneath and only cost my 2500$ in ohio during winter thats a dang good deal on a 4x4 truck. Typical Body rust starting but if i can get it to run again ill be as happy as a kid in a candy store.

I was over in the review section and saw too many debates on best pickup kit or best real truck, so lets just kick back and enjoy our and others builds. Ive Got a 99 Lightning, a 2000 F150 Sport 4X4, 97 Raptor Wanna Be, 2011 Raptor, 99 F250, 04 F550 Dually, 56 F800, 55 Chevy Dually, 50 Ford, Deora, 99 Dakota 4X4, Camo Willys Gasser, an Escalade, and an old black top warriors chevy pickup.

Revell 56 F100 Turned F800 engine is a fabricated cummins from spare parts. Bodywork is nowhere near perfect but it was after all a test of my skills. Bed was a combo of a 97-03 flareside and the bed from the kit, front axle is streched rear axle off kit, bumper is a popsicle stick. Cab/Bumper appears tilted because it got bumped before the pictures and i failed to realize.
