  4. thanks for the input i took the photos with my phone. i didnt glue the engine in just in case i wanted to wire it up but i already had the distributer painted i usually drill holes for wire before i paint the distributer so its probable going unwired. my grandpa will be happy enough just knowing i put time in for him.
  5. nice, what color?
  6. im thinking about taking the engine out and adding wire not sure yet though.
  7. sweet. usually when i see hinge hoods they never have a regular hood this is quite unique
  8. so its got a standard hood and a hinge hood?
  9. never knew that thanks for the info

  11. Me and my grandpa are alot alike both of us are ford fans and our favorite colors are both blue. We both love fishing and old muscle cars, hes always wanted a 67 GTO in a sapphire or similar blue so i built it and am going give it to him for his birthday on october 22 oh yah both our birthdays are in october but my birthday is the 18th. So here it is. Build was Here http://www.modelcars...topic=64003&hl=. The first photo is with the other branches of GM last is with my dream a 67 GT500 in blue, and my dads dream dart.
  12. put a radiator hose from my parts box on it and put the shocks from the custom one on it, i believe its ready to have good pictures taken and put underglass. this will be put in a display case and wrapped up for my grandpa in october.
  13. its mostly done just gotta put the black stripe decal on. comparing it to my dads dart i made.
  14. lol. im much better at BMF then painting chrome trim, i was using my chrome paint to touch up spots i wasnt having luck with the BMF on previous models then on my 64 THunderbolt i ran out.
  15. like ive said in previous topics im a quick builder. recently i ran out of BMF and my hobby shop aint gotten any in in a while so i had to hand paint the chrome, not the best job but pretty good for me. Its mostly ready to be put together i need to do the radiator and some other minor things.
  16. Ira would know but looks great to me.
  17. chopped a mustang speedometer in half and used it as the numbering for the tach, and finished the interior.
  18. working on interior i really hafta practice small details
  19. Put the tach on the hood and did the chrome trim on the bottom of the body. Also painted the Pontiac hood logo not my best detailing job but looks ok.
  20. well i chopped off the hood tach from the custom hood and painted it flat black, it will become part of the stock hood even though its the wrong color.
  21. Heres the trunk and front. just a quick display im gonna buff the trunk and body after the paint is 100% dry.
  22. surprisingly the blend turned out pretty good. The GTO and Early 90s Rivieras are the only GMs hes ever wanted, he had a grey 92 riviera until 2010 when the rear end rotted away. Ill post pictures after this reply.
