  1. well, today some new pics, the cab and frame are painted, started to assemble the inside parts of the cab.
  2. the worst thing for me is assembling the cab when the face and back are totally twisted....like the cab of my Volvo "Blue Rebel"
  3. Thanks for your comments ! Last details and I can fully concentrate on my Kenworth K-100
  4. Waiting for good weather to achieve my Scania wrecker I've started a new model. This time I'll try to detail it more. At the beginning I thought to detail the engine and the frame, but I've got some difficulties to find pics of the "plumbing" of the last one, and the few I've found show me quite a complex system. So I don't know for the frame...Maybe next time. So for the moment only "extra-plumbing" and parts were added to the original Revell Cummins NTC-475 Twin turbos. The dashboard was painted instead of using the decals on the sheet
  5. hi, some new pics. Most of the decals on. Chromed parts too. The parts above the cab are not glued, it's a test
  6. oh, a Prostar, one of the kits on my wishing list with the Lonestar
  7. Well I hope to finish it for the end of.......the year (get some time lol) In fact the front bumper and the "basket" above the roof (take a look to the box art) need some more paint : it's not exactly the same color than the truck yet. I'm working on the chromed parts and the last parts for now on, next the decals because the weather is quite bad : 10/15 °C is not good for spraycan paint. I think I had to wait for Spring time.............Think I will make a try before it, I'll not be that patient Then, waiting for better weather I may start a Revell K100 aerodyne or an Italeri Magirus-Deutz 360M19 or a trailer for my finished trucks
  8. yes I see what you mean. First I tought it would be a good idea, but it was not....Better luck next time ! Some weathering on the upper part of the wrecker trying to hide the glue problem on the paint.........but I know you should glue before painting..... light weathering on the cab and crane but too heavy, I think, inside the hood Today another pics :
  9. awesome painting work on the engine and interior...the rest of the truck too !
  10. Tamiya grey primer. The only one I get. Should have used the white one. After an other pass (not sure it's the right word) the result is quite better It's the same wrecker body than the Italeri's. Only the other two Revell Wreckers have a different one I think
  11. some new pics of this wrecker................I think it's my first and last yellow painted truck..............because at this point, it's my fourth yellow Tamiya's can.........and it's not even perfect AT ALL..........quite disappointed I am..... lol
  12. Hi everybody, today here's a project started years ago (at least 13 years I think), never finished because : 1) I ruined one part of the decal of the trailor when applying it. And even if I managed to get a new decal sheet set from Revell (for free, I had to thank them) I was "scared" to miss it again 2) The truck finished, felt in a total wreck in my hands because of the glue I used. There was a problem on the frame of the truck I've tried to correct the best I could Now, I've to finish the trailor and this project will be over
  13. Hi everybody, the IH Transtar just finished (well almost, you're right) I've started my first Scania Truck Build and first wrecker. The colour will be the same as the box-art. I tried to detail a little more the dashboard, especially the middle part, which was full of emptiness, adding some parts.
  14. and here also some pics of the MAN Ehmer with tank trailer almost finished too
  15. Hi, everybody, long time, no see. Here some new pics of my Transtar (almost finished, but my apologies, from the box, I'm not of the skilllevel of the modellers on this site)
  16. Nice job on the weathering ! Could you tell me on which french forum you are registered ?
  17. Hi, some new pics of my Transtar, thanks to you, I think the front axle problem is resolved, but is it normal that the dashboard doesn't join rightfully to the floor and inner cab sides ( I don't know if you see what I mean. Look to the fourth pic)
  18. Ah ouais....Quand même ! Impressive !! King of the Wrecker Truck !
