  1. Beautiful paint!
  2. Collect your brass, even if you don't plan to reload it. I was looking in my dad's "junk" bucket and noticed that many of them could be used for different model related things.A few ideas I had were: Velocity Stacks Moon tanks Welding Tanks Transmission Tunnels Headlight Buckets Taillight Buckets Compressors for Lowriders Mirrors (i'll explain if needed) And much more. Please don't turn this tip into a political battle, because we ALL know how the Mods feel about that.
  3. I built this because I got tired of shiny builds. I painted it in Tamiya Flat BLack (undercarriage and Interior), Tamiya Gloss Black (body and hood)and Testors Silver(Engine and other stuff) with the Gloss being dullcoted . While the dullcote was still wet, I threw on the rust powder (it doesn't do rust so well, better as "dust powder",lol) Enjoy
  4. I based this car on the one my mom had in High school (still has it btw).Painted in MM Pontiac Engine Blue Metallic , Tamiya Flat black and Testors Silver , all airbrushed on. Chassis was hand detailed with a paint marker. Enjoy
  5. Never leave me alone with a 1:32 scale Aeromax, sheet plastic, other parts, and a Ford Expedition body! Enjoy
  6. I'm not sure if it's an X-frame or not, but Revell's 1964 Impala has one separate. And i absolutely love this dio Brett!
  7. Yeah, me neither until I heard it mentioned on here.
  8. You can request the new tampo printed tires from Revell. And Andy I love where this one is going. Thanks for the brainstorm.
  9. yep, that's it
  10. I believe I saw a resin master of an 08 on here somewhere , someone else will probably know more.
  11. Well, this build really shows my knowledge of 1:1 cars when I started it. I picked it up last night and saw that i mounted the front leaf springs sideways. Oops.In real life this truck would be a nightmare to drive. It has no brakes of any kind, no steering box, a sideways front axle, and now the new leaf springs issue. And for those of you wondering, I first started this kit before I even joined this forum.
  12. Wow. I'm in love. Great work Junior!
  13. I made some progress today.I tubbed the frame, found my choice for the engine (it's from a Revell funny car glue bomb to keep the spirit of the CBP),found some torsion bars, cut a hole in the oil pan on the engine to clear the K-frame,and that's about all.
  14. Sweet,I love the concept of your car Fred.I might do something similar only I will likely stickwith the kit included 440.Oh, and I changed my mind about the wheels ,too much modding had to be done, I still don't have my mind made up for what to use instead.Any suggestions?Stock steelies or General Lee style turbines are being considered.
  15. Not sure yet on the engine, might supercharge it.
  16. Cool, Here's the start.The wheels and tires came from a Monogram 55 F-100.
  17. Nick, could I change my car? I have no ideas for the Gremlin right now and would rather enter a 78 Monaco.
  18. Sit in the back with all the windows in front of you down.Trust me here, it feels like a wind tunnel.
  19. Cool. Love the old dirt trackers.

  22. The only thing you could do would be to tub the chassis.
