Hi guys here's another new one. No this isn't an escapee from the MAD MAX movie set it is a real beast that graced our race tracks in 1972. It was built with many design philosophies from Formula 5000 as well as being powered by a Repco Holden F5000 308ci engine. It was too under powered against the well sorted 350's and 351's but due to the open wheeler style suspension setup it handled well enough to snare a couple of podiums during the 1972 championship season. It's the Kingswood kit from DDA with my own 3d printed wheels and tyres, brake ducts, seats, pedals, gearstick and exhaust pipes. The flares were made from Apoxie sculpt and the decals were printed by Custom Hobby Decals from my own artwork. The bumpers and wheels are painted with SMS Hyperchrome and the orange paint is a custom Tamiya mix and the black stripes are also painted. The kit went together well and the only issues I had were self inflicted. Thanks for looking. Cheers ShawnS

Something different. Started with this kit Fitted some Pegasus wire wheels, lowered the stance. Seats are from my parts stash. Added some 3D printed parts,Ignition coil, Chain steering wheel, air tank and compressor's, Used a The Parts Box pre drilled distributor. Other than that basically an out of the box build. Painted with The Scale Modellers Supply Lava colour shift. Interior paint is Vallejo Mech Sand Yellow. Applied Alclad chrome to the bumpers, grill, wipers, side mirrors, door handles, rear vision mirror, exhaust, compressors and air tank. Applied Zurc Zuper Chrome to the chain steering wheel. Engine painted with The Scale Modellers Supply HK Rocket Red BMF applied to window trim, front indicators/turn signals and tail light surrounds. Have seen a few people dislike and complain about the DDA Collectibles plastic kits diecast origins, personally I really like the modular assembly system. Makes it very easy to paint, detail and build. And whats not to like, it a plastic kit of an Australian Car ?

Here’s my completed hj tradie pano and my other one is a long way away from being completed. Paint is SMS paints Glacier white with tan interior. The van wheels magazine in it is the predecessor of the Australian magazine street machine and the cassettes are of Aussie bands of the 80s ie the Angels or Angel city for you Americans, Australian Crawl and the kiwi band Dragon. Anyway hope you enjoy

Hello I’ve been awaiting starting this build for a while now but I’m finally able to start as my ranchero is nearly on the way to be done and the nova awaits painting of the body I can start to work on a Holden model kit finally. here’s the 80s pro street look I’m going for. I’ve got a 1:1 scale hk Holden ute that will be built exactly like that ute there but just with a single headlight front here’s a mock up of my Hq But the contents of the box are amazing the small block for it also has a 3d printed crower stack manifold that’s all for now
