Farmboy
I had started this build a long time ago, actually posting in progress here on the site. Life gets in the way sometimes.... anyway, finished, thought you might like to see how it turned out. Note 4 doors on the curb side, 1 on the driver's side. Still to add are curb feelers,.. Comments and observations welcome

Eshaver
I have to commend you on attempting such a build ! The body looks flawless to me and I'm sure if it goes into competition , will be a serious contender !
Curt
Your stretch is unique, Mike. Even better, it looks flawless! Nice...

wayne swayze
Excellent body lines....no sags. Unusual body style to stretch, but you've done a fine job.

Farmboy
Thanx much everybody. The truly hard part to the build (besides making the first cut) was the side spear. It's not really noticeable but it runs up hill from the rear.

chunkypeanutbutter
Reminds me of sixties New York, maybe something a muscle-minded businessman would own.
DumpyDan
Wow man that is so cool, how many kits did this take to make. Not an easy job, turned out so cool, I can see that out side an airport back in the 60's
Farmboy
That's the limo look I was going for DumpyDan. I used two kits for the car, one the amt standard 62 Catalina, the other one a 'custom' version amt issued as a pink lowrider, but it's the same kit with a different set of wheels and a tufted leather bench seat. I needed it for the two doors, roof and frame extensions.
khier
How many kits went into this?
Farmboy
Oops, my error. 3 (it's been a while). I recall having to use a section of the floor from a 2nd regular catalina. Honest error...out of sight out of mind. The two additional doors and a scratchbuilt section make up the passenger side. scaleauto
I saw this car at the meeting we had last Thursday nite. Awesome
DeeCee
That's a great bit of engineering mate, brilliant job, as it is very difficult to get the sides and roof line smooth on a stretch like you have done.
Relic_Models
The strech looks pretty natural; well done.

christian-w
Holy That's awesome long. If you hadn't mentioned that there are different numbers of doors, I wouldn't had noticed them. Maybe because there are no door handles on it This would be a good addition.
