mangodart Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Hi guys, back with a new built, starting with a Revell model which could only be built stock. I decide to build something different this time, so I try to duplicate a 60ies area Gasser. Front suspension are from my parts box, front wheels are from the 56 AMT Ford, rear tires are from the AMT Drag pack tires, paint is a silver base with a blue coat from Tamiya, glasses are painted with the same coat. Engine is the box SB, as it's been built for a contest we have in a few weeks celebrating 50 years of SB Chevy. Hope you'll like it !!!
Eric N. Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Looks good to me! Watch that front tire. I think it's about to come off the wheel.
slusher Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Very sharp model emmanuel. Beautiful colors. You always do good work...
jdcar32 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Killer stance, classic gasser. Two tone paint is a bonus too. Two more words : ladder bars ( you could still add 'em ) Nice gasser......
vintagedragcrazy Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 That car screams gasser and I think the comment about the ladder bars is right on track the ones from the bad man 55 chevy would be a good choice beautiful car. Vince
horsepower Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Always been partial to the '56 Chevy, since my first car was a '56, but mine was a Bel-Air sedan, 283 4-speed, not near stock, got 5 mpg on the highway. But you might check your math, 2015 is the 60th anniversary of the small block Chevy.
mangodart Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Try 60 years of theSBC. Yes you're right, I'm getting old and time pass so quickly !!!! Thanks
Danno Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Outstanding. We just don't see enough '56 Chevys built. Edited May 19, 2015 by Danno
