One of my current WIPs is Agent Coulson's '62 Corvette "Lola" from the ongoing TV Series Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm using AMT's kit despite its inaccuracies because I already had it in my stash, and with all of the modifications it needed I figure correcting it wouldn't be that much more work.

My first steps were to correct the ridiculously undersized headlights and the too-tall front fascia:

I then scratchbuilt a new chassis to reflect Lola's flight capabilities:

Then the interior was assembled, and the extra panels and late-model shift lever were added:

Great idea and execution. How will you display it? Because if not in flight the unknowing will only see a nice corvette. And that is a nice looking chassis .

Thanks, guys! I plan on having her in ground mode only, though the thought of making a flight mode (or convertible - thanks for the suggestion, Brian!) had crossed my mind. I decided in the end that I prefer the "stealth" look, and anyone who looks under the hood or chassis can be surprised.
