well, that 29 ford from Revell is getting my money, and I also see the Surfite is being reissued evidently with a new Ed Roth figure (on box art?), so that's tempting.

if that 1/25 auto transporter has been around before, does anyone know if its large enough to comfortably hold 1/24 cars? and I assume be able to take them in and out (as opposed to having to build the transporter around them? that looks pretty kool

and the ford station wagon.

so for me I would say there is some gold in them thar hills

The transporter was originally offered from Rev US back in mid/Late 80's

Same as their 4 semi cab's Pete Convertional KW Aerodyne, Vovlo Globetrooter & Mercedes

I have one I started when New, but never finished

Now It needs new tires as all rotted out

I definitely want a few more since all Rev-Germany issues started at $50.++

and jumped over 100.oo Very Fast!!!!!!

The Surfite kit with the Ed Roth figure has been out for over a month now. The figure is great. He's wearing a plain white t-shirt, and they give you six different decal designs to go on that shirt. I also like that the decal sheet also comes with decals for the front grille louvers and the taillights. Hopefully saving the hassle of painting those two details.

that's a big improvement for sure...if they fit.

I was at the GSL auction this weekend, sitting next to Jim Keeler and he bid on and won that new Surfite kit. Kinda irony? So I told him that he better autograph that box for himself! :D

I'm looking forward to Tamiya's new 1936 Toyota sedan coming next month....yes really.

Looks like a 1937 Chrysler Airflow Toyota_AA_Sedan_1936_30.jpgchrysler_airflow.jpg

I saw a pre-production sample of Galaxie Ltd's '46-'48 Chevy coupe at a show ~3 weeks ago and it looks awesome

Yes the transporter will, look for the thread in the "Truck kits news and reviews" section on it and you will find the pic of my earlier release of it with its load of mixed 1/24 and 1/25 scale cars.

kool thanks

so does it come apart to access the lower row, or do you have to slip and slide your cars into there?

JB, the front upper section and the next to last rear section pivot/swing up to allow putting cars on the bottom row. I just built an original version, look in the rig section under wip's for Chevy Titan/ hauler.

Thank you, I'm posting from my phone at time and it doesn't like Photobucket very well.
