Piero Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Hi there ! Here is my last realisation, a 1969 Camaro SS. This is the 1/25 Baldwin motion kit from Revell. That car has been sitting in a field for a while, so the rust has began to attack the body, but it's still solid and in a pretty good shape... but a restoration is needed... as soon as possible. The last owner has installed a Baldwin Motion style hood and Cragar wheels, but let the car in a field a few years later.... Well, I let you see some pictures !
mikemodeler Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 That is a very convincing barn find! Great details.
Stray Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Cobwebs too??? This is a great build. It looks t5ruly weather beaten. Nice details and the slightly flattened tires make it look that much better. Well done man. :thumbsup
BubbaJoe Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 love the way the rust came out..looks great..the spider webs are a nice touch..very realitstic
Piero Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 A couple of pictures more realistic, to wait before the outside pictures
atomicholiday Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Looks great! I love the chrome flaking on the rear view mirror. Very realistic. And is that real cobweb?
Piero Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) I made the cobweb with my Humbrol model kit glue. I tapped glue between fingers and it has became that ! Edited April 22, 2015 by Piero
Scalper Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Wow. Cool job. I like how you made the right front head light lense stuck.
Piero Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 I cut the front end and add a headlight behind it
Renegade Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Great job. Cobwebs add the right detail. A true barn find.
