angelo7 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) I had done this Mack some months ago but wanted to try a steerable lift axle. So I modified it a little. It was easy as the wheelbase was already long enough for the extra axle. I want to thank Steve (Muncie) and Brian who gave me some valuable information here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=101078 Edited April 20, 2015 by angelo7

angelo7 Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Thank you guys. These Alcoas and tires are from the Freightliner COE kit (except the third axle wheel). The third axle is from a Revell Kenworth front. The support arms are from a Revell Peterbilt rear drives. Both Snap-Tite kits. The "air bags" are actually the rear tires of a HO scale trailer. Does anybody make these axles in 1/25 scale? Edited April 23, 2015 by angelo7
Tesla Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Great looking truck Angel and the lift axle looks super!
